(Nantes or Paris, for international student) 1) If someone is an EU citizen but takes the national Baccalaureate in their (EU) country (which I heard isn't the same as the European Bac, since that's only done in "European Schools" and the student went to a national school. Even the number of exams taken is different.. but maybe I'm mistaken?), is that national bac still valid in France if they also have DALF? If not, is there a way to get it recognized or to take an equivalency exam or to take the European/French Bac without having to repeat the courses? And does the person still use Parcoursup and pay the same fees as other EU citizens? 2) If the application deadline is 6 months before the Bac exam, but the admission requires a certain grade on the Bac, can the student still apply and send the Bac scores later?

And is it hard for the foreigners ( the ones who doesn't have french as their mother tongue language) to understand verbal explanations from the professors? Thankyou, your youtube videos help a ton
@sarahdlt96612 жыл бұрын
Hi ! I'm not Nora but I am studying at Sorbonne University too. Concerning the teaching method, it depends of the professors and the classes you chose. For instance, some of my professors use a PowerPoint, others don't and will just write the important words on the board (chalk boards or white boards, it depends of the classroom and of your campus) ; some have obliged readings for their class, other classes won't force you to read anything more than your lessons. For if it is hard or not : I guess it depends of your classes (again). I am studying literature there and some classes are easier to understand than others (from my friends who are on foreigners' viewpoint). But, to reassure you, there is what we call the "tutorat" : it is like support courses proposed by advanced students, in small groups (sometimes, you can even be alone), in order to come back on something that wasn't understood. It is a huge help (even I, as a french student, go to some of them when things get too complicated). I hope it helps a bit :)
