First of all your pieces are very beautiful 😍 and your videos are great! I started when I was about 10yrs old. My dad bought me some seed beads and a few books and made me a loom. I made seed bead earings and tried to sell at school. I sold a few but 10yr Olds did not have much money. So I started making hat bands and similar stuff and did consignment. Didn't make much. And just kinda stopped. I got married and a lot of life happened, with children and such! And I ended up doing boat and car upholstery. I did that for 30yrs. A couple of years ago I fell and cracked a rib and 5 compound fractured vertebrae. I was almost paralyzed. And got to looking g at stuff on the internet and found wire wrapping. So got into that, and you and oxana and Imbali were my go to designers. Then I started getting into Silversmithing. Which I have fallen in love with it. I'm kinda trying to incorporate wire wrapping and Silversmithing. The possibilities are endless! I don't know what I would have done with my life if I had not found jewelry making. Now I'm trying to find the best way to sell. Am kicking around the idea of doing you tube tutorials. But that's my story!

I loved this video! You have truly been an inspiration to me in my journey. I started wrapping last year. I had my first knee replacement at the end of January then the second in March. I have never been a person that sits still very well and being in bed for weeks just was torture. So, I decided to develop a new skill by watching you tube demonstrations. At first I started with silversmithing but the cost to get started was too much for me, especially not knowing if I’d be any good at it. Then I ran into a wire wrapper from Great Britain. I started with some nickel wire and basic tools but I decided I just didn’t like the style. It seemed to fiddly for me. Then I found Oxana and liked her style and bought some square copper. Then I found you. Your work is just incredible. I haven’t been able to mimic your style very well but each of your pieces are true works of art. Maybe someday I’ll manage to rise to half of your level. Now, I have a small business where folks have liked what I create and buy pieces from me. Mostly I love working with the stones and trying to hear what the stones tell me they want to be. When I was more able to get around, I bought an old roll top desk and modified it and refinished it to be my permanent work station. Across the center of the desk I installed an oak dowel that most of my wire hangs on so it’s easily accessible. My tools are at hand in the little nooks of the desk and my stones are in fishing tackle boxes in the file drawer. At any given time I have a project or two waiting for me to finish. It has brought me such joy. Hearing your story filled in some questions I had about how you made such magnificent work but had only a handful of videos. I encourage you to keep it up. You are truly gifted both in your work and video creation. You inspire and uplift. Just remember that there are always negative people who will try to make you feel badly about yourself because they feel badly about themselves. Ignore the hate and focus on all of those who tell you just how beautiful your work is and how special your channel is. I’m 56 years old and I’m finally at the point where I don’t worry too much about those folks who are unkind or try to tear me down. That element always is there but you just can’t let it change who you are or let it drag you down. Take it from me, you are the queen of wire. Wear your crown with pleasure! Hugs!

Wow! thank you so much. I really appreciate your comment. Yes, I do get stressed out a lot and second guess myself at times. I guess that's what they call imposter syndrome. But i'll do my best to do more. Thank you again and I hope you enjoyed this video. :)

Oh my - - this video was exactly what I needed to hear. I've been following you for a long time and when you "disappeared", I was sad. Your style and esthetic is timeless. I really enjoy the background you use and it highlights your jewelry beautifully. I started wire wrapping at the end of 2018 and then bam - the pandemic hit and watching your tutorials along with other artists kept me sane. You participated in a livestream of Yvonne Williams and I have to tell you I was so excited! Thank you so much. I love your ideas of upcoming content and I look forward to learning from you.

I can relate to your story. Especially about the moonstone. I have always been so captivated by moonstone, opal, and labradorite. It's like they have magic caught inside of them. I even also love makeup! I started wrapping also because I couldn't believe what you could make without heat. I am going to a school in NYC soon to learn the proper processes to work with metals and heat. You are such a talent, and you are so gracious to share it with us. May you be blessed always. ❤❤❤

You are just incredible! I am so blessed to listen to your story and to come across your work and channel. You rose so quickly, and it’s no surprise Bcs you’re insanely talented!! I love what you are doing with your art and with this channel. You are so inspiring, caring, and your spark to share your process so others can find their own creative juice and flow is just beautiful. Thank you 🙏🏾 And please keep going! There will always be haters and people who don’t like what you do. And there’s just as many if not more of those who Appreciate you so fully! I’ve been wire wrapping for many years off and on. Since around 2006. And there was never much of a community online or elsewhere to learn and grow with others. So it’s Completely Refreshing to be a part of your channel and content. It gives me so much hope for us all to be able to keep inspiring each other to do what we love! I’m just now getting back into wire work as I’ve been studying massage, and I look forward to anything you are wanting to share! Especially fundamentals of Art and design!! I haven’t been to school for art yet but it’s the next plan! Thank you for re inspiring me into this journey again! ❤🥰🙏🏾🕯️

Thank you so much! I'll do my best :) It's really hard sometimes tbh because I do get attacked at times for no reason. I mean there are things that happen behind the scenes that I don't get to share on social media. But at the end of the day, reading your wonderful comments trumps all that and does encourage me. I may not have 100k followers or subscribers but I do have a lot of love for this community. :) I hope that you continue supporting this channel and God bless you on your wire wrapping journey.

I have found in my 73 years there are some really cruel people in this world. They hate for no reason other than to hate or they are so jealous they can't contain themselves. Those kind of people try to belittle people to make themselves feel better when actually they are making themselves more bitter. I will never understand the hate because someone is a different color or because they believe in a different god. Or because someone has the ability to create something they can't. I do a lot of different arts, but I can't do them all. For those that can, I am awed at what they do and watch them out of wonder. Everyone is different. That's what makes up the world. I would be pretty darn boring if we all were the same. Don't ever let anyone try to ruin who you are. Remember, those that do that can't do what you do and are jealous or they can't stand completion. Stay who you are and let no one take that from you. Everyone is special. Even the mentally weak knows something the strongest mentally doesn't know. Everyone should be treated with respect.

Thank you so much. I really appreciate your comment and it's very encouraging. I do have to work on my self confidence a bit more I guess. And just to not mind those things that will get me down. Thank you again and I hope u have a lovely weekend!

That was a wonderful comment! I agree with you completely! I always taught behavior kids in lower income schools and can honestly say sometimes people want everyone to hurt like they are and it's up to the rest of us to share with them what kindness, compassion and forgiveness looks like even when we don't always necessarily want to. We have to be true to ourselves first and foremost. Oh and also, when you came back from the break, you Came back with some serious skill too girl! DANG, you are Amazing! 💙 🤗
