WOW, I can so relate to this story too! Glad, you didn’t fall into the trap and left, I wasn’t that strong. Did he ever try to get you back?

Hi Mikey! When I was in my early 20's I went to a party. I met a guy there and we started talking - he was the host. As the party wound down, and people left, I spent the night. I laid down on the living room floor in front of the fireplace and fell asleep. At some point the guy I was talking to put a blanket on me then laid down beside me and fell asleep. The next morning his roommate, who was also his ex, the host, and I ate breakfast. The host and I started seeing each other. That went on for several months. One day a good friends brother came for a visit - he lived in a different state. Five of us went out. We went to a bar and had a drink. The guy I was dating paid a lot of attention to our friends brother making me feel like I wasn't there. We left the restaurant and went to a club. One of the friends paid the cover for all of us to get in. I believe I stayed 10 minutes max and I told three of our friends that I was leaving since my date was preoccupied. I paid my friend back my part of the cover charge and left. I talked to my date a couple of days later. He informed me that he was moving to another state to be with the brother. I was stunned. I believe a couple of weeks passed and he decided not to go - I never found out why. At that point I didn't care. I was done. Fast forward 5 years. I went to a bar with a friend. As I walked in I saw the guy I used to date sitting at the bar talking to some guy. I walked over and said hi. The guy he was talking to got up. I stopped him and told him to sit down. The guy I used to date brought up that night 5 years earlier and apologized. I looked at him and told him to forget it and move on. I felt that he understood his mistake and wanted a reunion with me. That didn't happen. We have all been through things that I feel help us grow. Of course, at the time of the incident, I didn't realize the value of that experience until I got older. On a side note - don't be afraid of the stove... Lol

Hi there Brad! Thank you so much for sharing your story, I can sooo relate, actually part of your story reminded me of another situation that I’ll make a vid about, so another thanks for that😊.. I will say, it’s nice that he apologized, I’d like to think that situation made him grow, and probably you too in some way? Big ole 🤗’s
