Yeah, dont worry about stalling and stuff just let the instructor know in advance that you are a beginner and they will teach separately :) Learning the basics well is the most important part, so as to not cement things into muscle memory that could be wrong. Best of luck!

Hey Maha, you inspired me to apply for a riding course and I'm at the point where I'm training Inside the yard. The way you described your first class about being the worst rider who continuously stalled the bike is currently what I'm going through. I too never rode before with the exception of a cycle. Don't worry once you get the clutch part done everything else will come easy....dont be scared to give bit extra throttle for the bike to not stall. After I passed that hurdle I passed everything first try! You will do it too 🙌🏼

Does the final test differ from the practice hours you have to do? I believe it’s 20 hours. What was the cost of the practice and exam? Did you buy your Gsxr from a dealership?

Yes, theory is needed again because its slightly different with some questions related to motorcycle. Yup they provide the bike for learning and testing, its all part of the fees you pay same like car license. For the final road test, you will follow the same route that you had practiced during the classes. No change in route. I paid around 3.5k in total by clearing everything first try. I got my bike used, after getting it checked at a garage :)

There is no avoiding fines :) if you go fast and camera catches you, you will get fined.

I noticed you use Waze for your navigation. Is it better than G maps? I know that it shows you where speed cameras are but I dont speed. I find G maps has better routes. Whats your opinion?

I use waze mainly cause it shows lane assistance....it shows which lane to be in, it helps a lot in complicated flyovers. But routing wise I prefer Google as well.

Summer is horrible you cannot commute to work unless you are willing to take a shower every time you get to the office. The heat from the sun and air is impossible.

In Dubai police are more tolerant as long as you don't drive rash....but in sharjah they are more strict.
