Hey Ann did you have to study the language French for the long term visa? Also the medical insurance for the 150 which insurance did you use? Was it covering only you or plus your partner?

No i didn’t have to study language and the health insurance is only for you who is applying for the visa not your partner, i used jubilee insurance .

Try Germany,the requirements,the wait times to even get an appointment,you have to study A1 level and present a certificate to the embassy. Just tough Who processed your insurance? Immediately after i finished filling the form DS-160 i went on to choose the date that i wanted to have my appointment with the embassy. So it depends on on how busy the embassy is or sometimes they are fully booked

Hello Ann,if your visa expired in 3 months and you want to stay more than 3 months ,is it possible and also if you apply your visaa ,do you have to leave the passport at the embassy

You can’t extend the tourist visa (3months ) you have to go back to your country and apply for another visa but with long stay visa(12 months )you can renew it 3 months before before the expiry date yes you have to leave your passport at the embassy because they need to stamp your visa on it .
