Yay! Bn watching your vlogs about being international student. Me too, I've bn waiting for my PGWP and it's bn 3 months since I applied. I'm working full time now and my pgwp hasn't arrive yet. I was worried and panicking already cos my friends applied even later than me but they had theirs already. Finally, just yesterday I got an email from my immigration consultant that my pgwp has finally arrived!!! God is good all the time. 💙 More informative vloooogs to come!!

Summer 2018, I think? 🥲 You can work part-time 20 hours/week during your studies and full time on your scheduled breaks. Once you applied for PGWP, you can start working full time while waiting for your permit.

I have completed two one year program from eligible DLI. And both programs are completely one year full. Even though I finished two one year program, I got only exact one year work permit. What should I do now? It is unfair decision. I have sent all correct documents, transcripts of both courses Graduation letters of both courses my passport My old study permits. Everything was upto the mark. But I landed only one year work permit. I am really stressed now why cic did it to me. I don’t know. Please help out

Hi, After applying PGWP, my wife received work authorization letter stating that she can work untill 2 Nov 2021 or untill decision is made. Does this mean she has to stop work on 2 Nov 2021 if she did not receive a result? Next, her study permit expires on 30 Nov 2021. Can she stay in Canada after her study permit expires and while her PGWP application is in process?

You can stay and remain in Canada as long as you have a valid status document. In this case, you will be on ‘implied status’ while waiting for the result for your PGWP.

Just based it on the length of your study program. You can contact someone from your department if you’re confused about your program.

Yes, but both will not be valid beyond the expiry date of your passport so do check on that before applying for your SP. 😀

I only got the work permit pero it’s different pa din sa visa for entry in Canada, if that’s what you mean. I still have to apply for a TRV after receiving the work permit :) But yes, I’d think na multiple entry ibibigay nila sa new TRV.
