I have a question. What is the math formula for calculating auto attack damage with a given weapon? I'm trying to min max, and I'm a bit confused as to how stats interact with "physical damage" listed on a weapon.

It's honestly very unclear because there's also an "attack level" and "defense level" stat on each item that no knows exactly how it impacts the calculations yet. Recommend buying items with the different affix and switching them in and out in the training room to check damage on the training dummies. Testing penetration will be harder because the dummies don't seem to have any resistances.

@@ShadowOfaManTV defense and attack level work in 2.5% damage increments. Every level they are apart is a 2.5% increase in damage or defense and they balance out to 0 when they are equal

Are there gear score brackets in the game like in Dark and Darker? If yes, I did not found them out so far. I heard/read several gear score numbers but whenever I test them, it seems they are wrong as the other players always outgear me by far and this cannot be explained by loot found on the map.

The only mode with gear score brackets is the "casual" mode I believe you need to be under 4 gear score, I'm not sure what the brackets are above that because I believe they've changed since the playtest. But in this game you don't "need" good gear most of the time to beat melee opponents at least, you have a damage mitigation block mechanic for most weapons that allow more forms of outplay than just stat checks. Now magic damage is another story but I won't get into that right now.

@@ShadowOfaManTV 4 sadly is not the number. I was running only 1 blue heirloom and had a gear score of 3 but still ended up in a lobby with people wearing at least gear score 15 stuff, everyone 3 blue heirlooms... so I really don't know... gear score 2 maybe...

People enter naked then equip their gear so it doesn't matter if there are brackets or not

@@charlesschuster6195 If the gear score level is really so easily to be tricked this would just be a big bad joke. I know items in the inventory are not counted in the gear score, when you check the details, but someone can just hope they are still counted.

Didn't need to RMT for this set when I bought it. I can farm about 900k a day in classic sinners end. In total this set cost me 3 mil to make at the time. Prices are crazy high now though, your only bet at farming a unique nowdays is bossing over and over and hoping you get lucky. They probably need to increase the drop rates

Ngl I don't feel as if you should be able to kit up like this and then go into TDM. You were definitely outplaying them mechanically so good stuff, but that streak looked unplayable for the other team

it def is unplayable for players who don't know what they are doing, I played the last two playtests getting to the top of the leaderboard with just arena provided gear so being able to actually bring in a good set now just puts it over the top

I'm torn...being able to bring Kits means you can have "real" Tests with expensive Gear and have a playground to Show off your extreme treasures... But that comes with the downsides of it being the opposite of a funmode to just jump into. Nah, it's Not the Mode to mess around, it's the Mode you Play AFTER you finished grinding raids forever

I haven't run into a dual sword build that I couldn't outplay yet in arena with this build, but this build requires two legendaries and a unique so it doesn't really equate to the value that just a few life on hit rolls give in dungeons

I still don't get that stupid hate between Dark and Darker/Dungeonborne players about each others game. Dungeonborne is a way more easy, arcade like, version while Dark and Darker is the extreme hardcore version. Both games are fine.

Dungeonborne is the PVP version of the genre. If you enjoy the PVP and playability of a competitive-style game, Dungeonborne. Idk if this is DaD brainrot or what, but you don't duel with greys in this game because the basic functionality of most classes come from ATT breakpoints... AND the game has a gamemode that GIVES you full purple sets to use so you can get the most needed breakpoints for your class.
