Ok yall I don’t think she’s actually using a filter. For those of you who have had no skin improvements from threading, or even mass breakouts because of it, it’s due to open pores. After threading, your pores are open and can be filled with dirt and trigger breakouts,so it’s important to wash your face before and after. Threading can in fact improve skin by promoting blood circulation in the skin. Another way it can help is because from person to person, some may get acne from shaving their face or any other techniques, so this method allows them to be acne free. Obviously, the outcomes of threading can vary from person to person, but that doesn’t mean we drag someone down because they’ve obtained results from a method that you may have not found results from.

Yes this describes it perfectly! Not a filter per say, but lighting and camera does make a huge difference along with what skincare you put on before. My skin is not perfect, nor am I claiming it to be:) I have just seen big improvements once I started threading, and I wanted to share! Obviously everyone is different and will have different effects! I have lots of videos of my skin in different lighting:) when I film in front of my vanity, it looks the best, but I also try to show it in the back camera without bright lighting. Then you can see more of the pores and imperfections:) Hope this helps clear some stuff up

Not just blood circulation, the threading causes just enough inflammation to trigger a healing response. Face massages, gua sha, microneedling-they all function similarly.

I'm not about dragging people but there is definitely a blurring effect on her video, you can see it especiallyon the edges of like her shoulder and wherever there is supposed to be texture and there is not. Like I say, I would never drag people for that but I can see why others feel like she is trying to get over. She may not even realize that the effect is on.

if threading made her 'hyperpigmentation' go away, then what she had was excessive fuzzy hair on more concave areas on her face. melanin in your skin has nothing to do with your hair.

@sady1139
@sady1139 3 жыл бұрын
I saw another girl treat it with chemical exfoliant and other products cause hyperpigmentation is not your actual skin colour per say, it’s reactions to the outside environment and other toxins in the air causing the skin to be that colour so it is possible to get rid of/fix! I saw this girl on Tiktok who completely fixed hers in a couple of month using good and decently affordable products, I’ll find her @ and let you know

@Nagito Because threading just removes the hair in your face. My mom usually does threading to get her eyebrows in shape, and she tells me that it hurts. The girl in the video says she does threading to get a "clear face" but like I said it's only the cut of the small hair in your face. People say that she used a fliter in this video, but im not too sure.
@Arcknight.
@Arcknight. 2 жыл бұрын
@@nevedaneil3449 when you use threading it helps the skincare products to get to the pores perfectly and it also stops shading some areas so even if u have hyper pigmentation the hairs make them look worse I am sorry for bad English but that's overall how threading helps in getting clear skin
@iloveyou-to2sy
@iloveyou-to2sy Жыл бұрын
well if we actually break down the science, this could technically be true. threading is removing hair and from the root so the skin is exposed more. so products could penetrate more. she is also of color so her hair on her face is more suseptible to being darker and looking thicker so the hyper pigmentation she’s talking about could have been also caused by darker hair.

This is not for anyone with sensitive skin. Please don't do it if you have sensitive skin. I used to get my upper lip professionally threaded but every time I did it gave me tiny bumps that were not acne just water filled bumps that would last for a week or more. I tried different ways to prevent that but nothing worked so I just stopped threading all together, I just shave off the upper lip hair now but not with an actual razor, a tiny electronic one that looks like a lipstick. Instead just use a mild chemical exfoliation method that works for you. It will take time but damn it works.

Removing hair from the skin through shaving, threading and waxing WILL make your skin glow and look much more smooth therefore looking brighter and somewhat clearer. However it has no connection to fading acne scars or hyper pigmentation in any way. Niacinimide is one great product for these problems as well as redness and is cheap from great brands like the ordinary or the inkey list. But really, gentle exfoliation 2 times a week, daily cleansing and toning, and a good, light and protective skincare routine suited to your skin type/ condition is all you need to keep skin clear and fade blemishes over time. Threading can also cause more bacteria to get into the skin if not cleaned properly after the process thus causing higher risk of acne. Please don’t try removing hair from your face and become disheartened because it doesn’t look like hers, trust me.. that is not how she removed scarring❤️ ps, your skin is beautiful and pigmentation, acne, scarring etc is all totally natural and normal

Threading is,almost, exclusively used for hair removal. In this case, it seems like it is a buyer beware situation, especially if you are considering paying to have threading done. In the past, it has not been touted for anything BUT as a depilatory, so buy this at your own discretion.

Your skin cleared up when you started taking better care of your hair. A lot of teens don't realize that a lot of that scalp oil runs down your face and, based on your bone structure, collects on certain parts of the face. Clean scalp = clear face. Been there.

this is complete BS. please just have a decent skincare routine and use chemical exfoliation and sunscreen (there are more professional treatments too if you want them/can afford them). threading won’t do shit for acne or acne scars. it only pulls the hair out and if anything, it can cause more acne if you don’t cleanse the skin properly afterwards as it leaves the pores open for bacteria to enter. she probably has a filter over this video, a good skincare routine, and good genetics that also contribute to her skin looking like this. threading WILL NOT magically remove acne scars.

Just _try_ to run a thread on when you've active acne, you'll feel like your soul is departing from your body. I've had acne to a point even facing a pillow or shower water would hurt. Any kind of physical exfoliation is a surefire way of only worsening the breakout. Surely it's a fair way to remove facial hair but a thread to cure acne ? Propostrous !!

Acne can be treated with a good skincare routine. Start with an oil cleanser, then a water based cleanser. Exfoliate with glycolic acid pads, they are gentle and soft on skin. Then use a gentle toner or serum and finish with a good moisturizer and seal with a jojoba oil or sunflower oil. I do this and my skin gets compliments all the time, also discoloration can be treated with tranexamic acid, licorice root, Kojic acid … patience is key. It takes time, you have to be comfortable with the acne and discoloration for a while letting your skin breathe (not piling on the makeup) and it will in time get better. The process is important, you have to trust the process. I used to have bad acne and it got cleared up with a good skincare routine and the right skincare ingredients

The bumps usually come from a mild irritation. So perhaps the products they used while threading were not suitable for ur skin or there was a hygiene issue! You also are a lot more prone to breakouts the first few times cuz ur removing a lot of hair, but once you do it often, it is genuinely so good!
@SnehaCynthia

It happened to me too! I thought it was the salon, till I figured that my skin is thin and hence sensitive to threading/waxing! I just use the eyebrow razor or tweezers for my eyebrows (it doesn't hurt as much as threading and doesn't cause bumps mainly) And eyebrow razor for the face to remove peach fuzz and unwanted hair.

I'm 16 now so my mom finally let me start threading. And the thing is, I used to have really good skin until now, and the occasional acne was pretty minimal all in all. Ever since I started threading, my forehead has been super bumpy and I've been getting boils and pimples just on the forehead. I never really had an elaborate skincare routine, but I wash my face atleast thrice a day, moisturize too and use sunscreen before stepping out. It's all to blame on the threading- and no I don't do it myself, a beautician does it.

I haven't had ance because I hardly ever touch my face, I hardly wear make-up (If I do, it’s mainly lip gloss or glitter), have a normal diet (the stuff I eat everyday, it doesn't have to be fruits and vegetables all the time), and I use facial soap (the bars that you find at your store).
