Y'know something about this feels like it might actually be illegal. I'm not a lawyer, but even if the money was for charity a game show or competition rigging the event for another team to win raises a lot of red flags. Let's look at this in a hypothitcal worst case scenario, what if the charity that was awarded is actually nefarious or some sort of kickbacks happen? This whole thing would turn into a money laundering event. Again this is the hypothetical worst case, but I think this proves that this could easily be abused and it feels like something about this is really wrong. On the pure events outined here its just a really bad compeition. The walk away first place for the entire event loses to an unplanned last minute point bet? Also, in the final compeition if it's shown that the hacks or hinderances are effectively making the game easier, you have to either force it to happen for everyone or you re-do the compeition where no one uses them. You can't have someone do it last and have unfair results. All in all this shit is just a really bad event and I really think there might be something illegal about it. Even if its for charity it feels very wrong.

The Mark Phillips hack on second place in the first half actually makes some logical sense. In their eyes, they knew the result of the dice game. First couldn't hack second. And so, it was only reasonable to assume that second would take that advantage to hack first. So third has the option to either double stack first, or try to spread the hacks evenly across all teams. If they double stack first, second overtake firsts w/o any hacks, and third probably stays third. So the best option, in theory, is to hack second place and try to put everyone on an even playing ground. The problem is that Berleezy KNEW Ludwig HAD to hack third, so hacked third with him to ensure third could not overtake them. It practically just fucked third place over, really. Nothing they could have done.
