From my experience I have gotten better drops on higher difficulties of the more rare items. Though I don't think the game says it does or doesn't matter anywhere.

I generally don’t go out of my way to farm these, but i do have around 200 ( i unlocked all shadows but tusk and i upgraded igris twice) so yeah, don’t stress it out too much, new players

I'm about maxed out Blade but should I upgrade Igris? since my Jinwoo already maxed out the Crit rate ratio.

The crit rate from set effects like Toughness and Igris will add on top of your maxed out 50% crit rate. I think Payneblade did the math on that.
