So I'm brand new to Apex, like just started this week. My first game against real players I chose the solo mode cause social anxiety lol. When I tell ya guys I'm new, I mean like I didn't even know how to jump out of the ship or where to land or w/e. So I accidentally landed literally right in the doorway another player was opening, blocking his way in. I freaked out cause a player was in front of me so I jus started spamming melee on that poor, confused, gunless gibby. Scene looked like some sci-fi domestic abuse. First blood. Haven't seen a kill since tho, lol, an I know it's how I'm playing. But this vid is giving me inspiration to keep tryin. At this point winning isn't about gettin top score, it's about jus improving one aspect of my approach at a time.

I never really believed in getting ‘easy lobby’s’ but getting wrecked all day by 20k kills horizons and getting max 5/6 kills on solos I eventually got put into a lobby that just felt so easy, everyone seemed so less skilled so I ran about like crazy and got 17 kills, now I’m guessing I’ll just have go threw a hole load of tense 5/6 kill games again and pray that I get another lobby like that😂

Aside from recoil control, when you strafe left or right and move your crosshair in the opposite direction, it eliminates most of the recoil. In simpler terms, recoil smoothing. 8:39

​@@cooldie7that's not smoothing. What you described was smoothing not what he was doing though. The way he was shooting he would have to control the pattern for the recoil and walk with the bullets. Not possible to do with 3point aim assist on a controller. He was walking with the Target after centering on the Target with what appeared to be 5 point aim assist. And there is always recoil on the first bullet. Wether your smoothing or not.

​@@cooldie7so if you think about and pay attention to details and are aware of the mechanics and the Nerf to aim assist from 5 points to 3 you can ask questions and raise proper suspicion on what's legit and what's not. And safely day that what he's doing does not match what's possible. Especially when if he is in fact using 3 point aim assist he should be tracking more than he is. So it's honestly confusing the way he's hitting those shots. Even though the people he's fighting aren't good at all either still he's not tracking his aim assist is doing most of the tracking so once again if you take into account that the Nerf to aim assist from 5 to 3 points what he's doing in terms of aiming is not possible with points 3 aim assist so. My final point is that he has either a Chronus or another device giving him the extra aim assist he needs to be good.

​I'm not stupid nor am I ignorant on the mechanics and skill requirements to play this game. It's why I like apex because of it's learning curve. However I don't like the display of look at me I'm so good but I use a chronus part. I enjoy the game because of the learning curve. But you have entitled streamers and KZbinrs who take shortcuts to fame. For views it. Its why I don't enjoy twitch or KZbin anymore because now it's a matter of look at me I'm good rather than entertainment. But this game is not for entertainment. It's a competitive game. So it's honestly sick and disgusting the length people will go for views. I mean if you want entertaining content stream or post Minecraft or story games. And give commentary. Because this game was made for fun and competitive gaming not for entitled KZbinr and streamers to post videos of them using devices like the chronus so they can grow followers. To think being KZbinr actually meant something a while ago. But it is what it is. Wether you choose to realize what's actually happening in most videos like this is up to you. Personally this is the reason I stopped streaming and stopped playing this game. It didn't matter how much I learned and practiced. Because I won't resort to a Chronus to play a video game when I can play a different one. It's why apex is boring now and why this game will lose it's entire player base except the streamers who built their career of this game and lose all their followers if they quit and then can't pay their bills. Unlike them I'm not stuck. The game is no longer enjoyable because you basically have to cheat to compete and I'm not interested.

The highest I've gotten is a 10 kill game in a lobby filled with absolute sweats. I am a m and k veteran and have nearly 18k kills on valk, still I struggle with half the lobby locking onto me.
