So I was camping on top of a mountain behind a rock. I watched the replay to see how soneone saw me to kill me. I switched to nearby players and all of them, 6 of them, were hiding in trees... one of them using the kick back emote. It was hilarious! However, I don't think I will have tome to get to Unreal... I am Elite 88% right now and it takes forever to progress.

Yeah I think I'd rather do it normally. Right now I'm in Platinum I at like 50% from a crown dub. The rank system works like this. Survival means the least, elims and wins mean the most, however what means more is enemy ranks. Killing high rank enemies grants you more points than lower ranked ones.

If your not elite you can’t be talking it’s so easy to gain rank in elite and under,in champion max you can get is 8 rank if your like a fncs pro player but for normals it’s like 4 and if you’re not top 10 your losing 2 rank I can say this because I was in champion dropping 10kills and wins and only getting 5 rank atleast 3 unreal elims cuz they had backbling

This was probably a feature they put in for people who lose internet connection. Kind of sucks people found exploits so next season they will have placement mean less. Im sure its hard for epic to ballance placement and rank already.

Easy solution, reduce placement weight by half, and double elim weight. Elims later on I believe have higher weight, so I think that is good. Also once you get to elite, placement should be reduced by half again.

@@Rockjay288 I get that but if they want ranked to be more like tournaments you could get a 1 Elim 4th and go down as tou get higher in ranks. You are right though you shouldn't be able to reach Unreal with barely any kills. Personally I don't want to be in a rank where I can't win a good chunk of 50/50's. If I'm a diamond player why would I want to cheese my way to Unreal and play people who are going to smoke me almost every time? I do understand wanting tge cosmetic to be a certain color so that makes sense but camping and killing yourself messes with anyone trying to actually rank up and playing to face opponents around their level.

Any updates on whether NA players will be able to obtain the umbrella? I never got it along so many other people. I’m hoping that it will have the rank for this season like you said because I’ve been doing the same thing to hit unreal. Champs lobbies are so hard. Everything up to that was a breeze tbh, but I just can’t compete in champs, so I’ve had to resort to this. Well, anyway, please let us know!

Im also curious what happened to the multiple Duo - Cups where you could have gotten the glider too It was cancelled atleast in my compete tab ( eu servers ) As i got to 72 POINTS CMON😭 I got to 72 points of the solo builds ranked cup and i was so near to getting it And since i was thinking that i was fine because i could try the duos on 2 accounts Well not anymore and epic has been quite annoying with the recent "problems" that have accured So im here hoping for a compensation to the players that played the solo atleast It aint fair cmon i was so close too 😂 Well either way this sucks on me

Tried a match and made top 10. Didn't take enough fall damage to die, so I backed out of the lobby. I got ZERO progress. Perhaps Epic is wise to this now and giving no progress when backing out?

It still works. If you get to top 15 no damage to bullets or storm, just back out and you gain a guaranteed 2% in champion

@@the_general4772 are you asking if this strat works when being unreal? i have not tried to do it. i think for me it would be more difficult than how i normally play the game, to make it to the end without taking damage from the storm or from enemies would take alot of rotational skills or luck. i imagine you would have to make it to the top 10 at least to do so like he showed in this video.

@@the_general4772 ya, it might very well work for unreal also because the game treats you like the next rank when you get above 75% or so, and it shows ifiremonkey progressing from 98 or 99% up to unreal and at that percent it would be treating him the same way it would an unreal player. if youre below 75% champion it will work forsure, but you will see it not be as effective when you get to about 75% like i said. the lower your rank is the more this strat is effective

Use an alt account on another device, join the party. Start the round up, leave the game with the alt account in the loading screen. Should put you in a bot lobby

There is actually surge in Rank mode after staying in the storm for more than 5 minutes trigger it and it will still completely eliminate you even you have plenty of meds.

Should have a timer for campers like Warzone. When your not moving for a while it will kick you from the game. Its messed up to a real player trying to get kills and win the game... what are we supposed to do just go around breaking all the trees and bushes... really dumb and game breaking... That bush dad guy doesn't even play the game! he works a full time job while camping in a tree and making people rage. Very bad for the game. "Kick for Inactivity" Thats what we need!!!
