I just transferred to a new homeschool that is going to allow me to graduate early (when I’m around 16) and it’s a huge weight off of my chest. Homeschooling might not be for everyone but it’s allowed me to do so many other things in the day, and I can go over to my other friends houses that are also homeschooled and do school with them :) So happy it worked out great for you!!! 🤍🤍

I’ve literally just started homeschooling today, I’m 14 and been in (Scottish) public school my whole life but I’m so happy and excited about this new journey, I already feel so much more optimistic and confident about my future. I loved this video, it’s made me even more confident that what I’m doing is right even though it isn’t the “normal” route to go! Thank uu 💜

Hi there, I started homeschooling in September 2022, it's been going really well, however, I lack motivation from time to time. I used to go to Slovak public school, and all of a sudden I transferred to an American international online school which is a big change. Since my parents do not speak English it's literally just me and the teachers but I'm a self-learner like you and I like to do stuff by myself. I'm really happy to be online because it allows me to focus on psychology and criminology which are my areas of interest. I plan to graduate at 16 as well. With that being said thank you so much for making this content because it makes me realize that I'm not the only one online-schooled, and while I love it from the bottom of my heart it does get lonely and boring sometimes. Thank you so much, and keep on making content.

Wow, that's amazing!! Yes, that is a huge change to make, and I can see how that would be hard! Just keep pushing through with the end goal in mind! I'm glad this video could help, even if it was just a little, thank you so much for your support!❤

What an awesome testimony you have. I just moved to states and want my kids to do online courses for credits. Private school in the City is 1600 including all discounts. Your homeschooling video gave really good insight. My sons are working part time because of the flexibility of online courses and the want to be around my brothers, even to work. They also do outreach and MMA so I really wanted to see a video on homeschooling before in person classes begin. Really appreciate it. The boys are straight from islands and really want to be in everything.. time is limited on my end and theirs. Thanks again for the prospectives. My brothers want to get them in an apprenticeship in the future so I like your brothers’ stories. God bless, you.

I just started doing online school this year! Well basically 2023 and anyway I'm in 10th grade, but I do class by class. I only have 9 classes, almost 8 classes left! I'm going to work on school during the summer and hopefully, I can graduate at the end of 2024! I would say homeschooling is the best, public school sucks, they don't teach you anything really. A lot of people do look down on homeschooling/online school and say sometimes it can be 'indoctrination'. Sure, it can be, but everyone is being indoctrinated by the people you hang out with. Anyways, I love it!!

I am actually a homeschool mom of a 16 year old and I’m stumbling as to how to help her be ready for the work force. I won’t be sending her to college she will have to do online studies. What can you recommend? Thank you very much! Have a wonderful blessed and safe life❤️

Dear Hannah, Our founders, Sumay and Aila Lu, would like to interview you for our school. We are a virtual private school that primarily serves homeschoolers who practice self-directed learning. We provide tools, resources, and stories like yours to help our students make the most of the freedom that homeschooling provides. We conduct these interviews over Zoom at the guests convenience. Thank you for your consideration!

NOT HOMESCHOOLED, but same! It’s not even that hard skipping a grade as far as I’ve seen, as I’ve met several (maybe tens of) people like me. Also, I’m heavily against homeschooling, sorry.

There are good reasons to homeschool. Read NEA: Trojan Horse in American Education, written by a former public educator. The problem goes back to Horace Mann and John Dewey. They specifically wanted to drive a wedge between parents and children. It was based on Humanism. Humanism holds that a person's chief purpose in life is to achieve one's highest potential. This conflicts with the Christian ideal, which is that the chief end is to glorify God and glorify him forever. Hence, one can glorify God as a plumber, electrician, janitor, or lawyer, if that is what God calls one to do. There is no such thing as selling oneself short if one's chief end is to glorify God. Also, if one's chief end is to glorify God, one is not limited to a specific career. One can move up or down the economic and social ladder with no fear or worry if one's chief purpose is to glorify God. The Humanist ideal was to eliminate a child's basic sense of purpose that was inculcated by the child's parents. Humanism sought to substitute science as the sole determinant of truth, completely apart from any value system that places God as the source of truth.

I’m homeschooled, I’ve been homeschooled after COVID first started, I was 12 at the time and now I’m 14 almost 15 and I’m wondering if I took my GED at 16 would I still be able to go to college without going into a public school, like without going back to high school?
@MariaMaria-uj2cl

Hey I had a rough childhood and ended up dropping out of school very early stopped going in 10th grade. No high school diploma. Later I actually wanted to get my stuff together. So I got my GED (took ged prep courses before to help) and with my ged I had no problems getting into community colleges for classes and I ended up going into a college to get my xr license and AA in applied science and now I’m going into MRI and CT. long story short, my GED has NEVER held me back from getting into to college, getting a job or getting scholarships. however i never went to a university. But still I don’t know if it would matter if you got your ged then got your AA at a community college with a decent gpa then applied for a university it probably wouldn’t matter to them that you had a GED.
