I’m inspired!!! In 2018 I was totally bald from chemotherapy 🥲 when my hair started growing back I didn’t know what to do with it. My hair is now the length of yours in 2018. I now follow you in mini braids & I make a Amla & fenugreek mask with peppermint essential oils & I’m retaining length, wash , condition & moisturize in mini braids & I’m seeing results. Thank you for sharing 👍🏽

Your hair is so beautiful and long. People will most likely say genetics played a huge part in your hair growth without considering also your hair routine and discipline.
@BarbaraBirungiSunflower2 жыл бұрын
People say that all the time especially when your hair is at a certain length but I don’t believe that to be true because if you care less about your hair sorry you won’t have this length. I had relaxed hair for many years and it never reached this length. So I believe in genetics but not on my part or journey. This is all hardwork and care.

I’m about starting my natural hair journey. I’ve had friends permed their hair after 8-3 years of being natural,. It’s quite discouraging but I’m going to do it. Permed hair is not doing me good. I am so happy for you. Thank you for sharing your experience. I pretty much experienced the same when I was relaxed. I had long relaxed damaged hair. My hair was not goo but I found it hard to let it go. I thought I couldn’t manage natural hair until I was frustrated with the perm and heat, the burn on my scalp and the poor treatment I would get from the many stylists. I was over it and I must say best decision so far. I have learnt a thing or two about my hair and still learning- that’s why I share my journey here raw and simple. We are here for you. You hair is thick and long?? That’s really good! It means your hair is healthy. What method of moisturizing do you use? LCO or LOC method?
