Yesterday was an after update an epic, shit day! Sure its more your own tier matchup, but, 34 games 9 wins, boosters didn't help me much! Some 5-6 games were over within 3 minutes with scores 15-2 or15-3!

And they are sitting on Really high wnr8 because they just do one thing. Which is to spam gold. I swear to god they don't even know what a lower plate is. Even without stock gun Pershing is totally fine. I mean the whole M48 line basically consists of epic and very enjoyable tanks. Except for tier 9 stock can be a bit painful, but still fine, not dramatic.

9:50 there is a way easier way to do that : put the vehicle to comparison, and then equip the modules you want to try and see if the game tells you if its too heavy, otherwise thats ok

I was looking for this comment. Is it even possible that QB doesnt know that? Moreover, there is also the issue of equipment -> there are tanks when it happens; when you amount your vents rammer and stabilizer you are over the limit to mount the gun. In that cases you can always drop 1 equipment slot for extra capacity load untill the time you grind tracks.

Tip for every stock Škoda T50 user: Mount the better radio, which is lighter by 18 kg. Then you can fit the better turret and the autoloading gun without needing track upgrade. And with the best gun, you can mount even the 2nd motor. So you don't need track upgrade at all.

There is one thing that drastically changed my success in battles, and that is the idea that I should in almost any circumstance unless the game is an obvious loss, help my team and try to flank whenever that is necessary. When I stopped thinking about increasing my kills and damage output and rather focused on being a good team player I managed to get a lot more wins AND more damage output and kills. Of course I have a long way to go in order to become a good player, a lot of times I have absolutely no clue where to go on certain maps, especially with certain tanks, but even then if I'm focused on helping my team it's still doing a lot to make the game more enjoyable and being able to increase my stats.

My tip for planning your upgrade path is to put the vehicle into the comparison menu, when in there it will show you whether or not you need to upgrade the turret or tracks in order to use a higher gun, engine, or equipment. It takes everything into account so if you set it up the way you want you don't have to do the math, it does it all automatically for you 👍

The main problem I see people complain about comes down to the amount of time that they've put into their accounts. QB has done all of these marathons to earn all these premium tanks to grind the credits. But at the end of the day, he did grind for it, not pay for anything.

Stock Škoda T-50. Try playing that stock with 80% crew. I had 15% win rate. I remember one day I played 20 games, and lost 19 of them. Then I used your method: just one win per day and after two weeks I managed to get an autoloader gun. After that, Škoda became dream to play. Cheers

What I usually do when it comes to load capacity is that I select the tank in my comparison tab on the bottom right and you can play with the modules on the tank. The game will highlight if the modules are too heavy and that you need the tracks. QBs way involves a bit of maths in your head LOL

A couple things I would have mentioned: I haven't actually played in a few years so I don't know if equipment 2 changed this, but there was a suspension equipment that would increase suspension capacity, so those would let you get the tracks last Sometimes derp guns can be used during the grind, or even just HE spam if it has at least a medium caliber gun. I know this was a very common technique for players rushing to get the old refer a friend program tank for themselves. Even at tier 8 90mm HE can get you a good result if you know where to aim and keep the gun firing Also, this is exactly the sort of thing that players shouldn't be shy with the free XP for. If you don't use it for this, what do you use it for? And finally, remember that it is just a game. It's easy to keep playing stock tanks until you're sick of it, getting frustrated, playing poorly and being the sort of team mate no one wants out of frustration. No point in playing a game if you're gonna get like that. Sometimes you just gotta take it easy, this isn't a job... For most of us at least.

Another helpful suggestiosn in case you dont wanna do maths: Put the tank in the compare list, go into the comparison list, click "configure" of the tank, click on the modules and then hover over the turret or the gun. If the turret or tracks is needed for the gun or the turret, the needed module will be highlighted. you then instantly know which modules you need to get that desired module

Haven't checked if this was said yet below but the comparison tool also works really well for determining what build fits while grinding through the tanks (9:10). If you add a tank to the Comparison List and then Configure it, you can easily see what modules are required first since when you mouse over a module you want (e.g. bigger gun), it will add a dashed border around any other modules you need to upgrade first. E.g. if you add P26/40 and mouse over the Cannone da 75/34, it tells you that you require the upgraded tracks and turret first so your order would liekly be the 75/32 gun, then IV tracks, then IV turret then the 75/34 gun.

If you ever want to experience the old T95 speed, mount a turbo and run at half throttle (double tap r then hit f). You’ll be driving at 12 kph which is about all the T95 could muster on anything other than a downhill slope. Interestingly enough, the top speed of the T95 was actually something like 16 or 17, it just didn’t have the engine power. So if you were in a heavy it was considered polite to push the T95 as you were getting into position. Helped you out too, cause you brought an stonking great big 155 mm into the brawl with you to help out *and* you had an extra 10 meters of speed armor to go hull down behind.

I use the ingame comparison. Just add the tank to be compared, enter the comparison page, click to configure, click to edit modules. There, all you have to do is hover your mouse over what you want to add (gun, turret, engine) and if the tracks don't auto highlight then you're good, if the tracks do highlight then you need dem very expensive tracks.

It's a different approach, but I always purchase the next tank without crew, and keep playing the current tank and spending all its experience to upgrade the next tank. Only when the next tank is fully upgraded do I move my crew up to that tank. So basically I never have to play with stock tanks (except T1).

Really appreciate the new Free2Play/non-premium ammo gameplay and agree that stock grinds are much easier now - especially if you have premium time I really wanted the Patton tanks but had no tolerance to play the Pershing (especially not stock) so I bought the battlepass and played smart, now I have both Pattons with good crews and bounty equipment on each, WG is not perfect but they have certainly made unlocking new tanks way more bearable with blueprints and personal reserves and because of that I'm more likely to play the game (and maybe spend some $ from time to time)

Been watching you since 2012. Go into the preview vehicle screen before you buy and then you can use the preview module viewer to see if you need the upgraded tracks to mount the new modules. Don't think it works after purchase but it's much easier to figure it all out. Cheers bubs.

How to grind stock tanks? Just play your t8 premiums and grind credits and missions. Then with all the blueprints you've collected you just research the whole line. Done you now have tier X tank without playing stock tanks. Now do this all again and in 3 years you'll have another tier X tank!

It was the t-28 to KV (KV-2) and I know I know the t-28 was a great tank but i was young and had no patience to play it then. But boy am I happy I got it because it aloud me to get far into the TD and SPG lines I was also super excited to have the KV-3 before they bumped it up to tier 7! Ahh the good old days lol

instead of having to do all this maths to figure out the weight capacity, you can just add the tank to comparison by right clicking on the tank in garage(bottom tank selection window)->add to comparison then click "to compare" then "configure" here, under modules, you can select any module available on the tank, and also set-up equipment on the tank, and you can see if any particular module is too heavy or not. You can also fine tune your selection of modules/equipment to make them fit on the stock tracks

Just a heads up that you can use the comparison interface (even with only one tank selected) to "configure" the tank loadout, and it will tell you what you can equip before upgrading the tracks by clicking around.

For finding out if you need tracks or not, you can actually make it easier by putting the tank in the comparison. Put the tank in comparison and go to configuration. There you can pick the modules and see which ones you can get before needing to get the tracks. It will highlight whether you need the tracks or if a gun needs the next turret. Simpler and easier that way. Hope that helps fellow tankers.

My keys to researching stock tanks before tier 8: university missions! For example, complete the missions - except for the exam - in a tier 6 tank that’s already fully upgraded and get the tier 7 researched. Once the exam mission is almost done, switch to the tier 7 stock tank to get the 25k reward. Also, do similar with xp weekends that have 30k rewards.

I just played through the stock Pershing myself about a week ago and boy is it one of the better stock tanks! Yes, the pen is a bit lacking, but if you put a Turbocharger on it you can pull back with 24km/h (and if you’re on a slope, more like 26-27km/h), which is amazing for dodging the shells that would otherwise be going through the ~110 mm of stock turret armor. TL;DR: Turbocharger is amazing on this tank, you can pull back super quick.

The crappest is WoT console where you can only research packages not individual modules. You have to start out with the D25T on the T-10 for eg, and cant upgrade to the BL-9 until you've researched one of the packages.

I am not paying to play and it is a hard grind. I use all the tricks explained. But this year there are so many free boosts that I have increased my play time x3 just to be able to do the missions that give me that extra bonuses. And because of the quicker grind (mainly because of the x5 exp missions!!!) I have more stock games and my stats sinked tremendously. You can literally see on my stats/time graph the rollercoaster of "going down with the stock tank" and "going little back up with full upgrades" before researching next tank and start all over again. A personal tip from me: don't play weak/stock tanks late night - you depend on your team and I don't know why but the teams at that time are full of new players that can't support you at all.

No need to read all the module details or get your calculator and converter out for KG's and ton's. Using the vehicle comparison tab, click on any of the modules and select the desired config. The modules will get dashed borders if they can't be mounted due to weight restrictions. Equipment can be tested in the same way. Mounting 'Improved Hardening' replaces the need for upgrading suspension allowing you to mount more useful modules first. If you're just grinding through a vehicle there's often no need to get the upgraded tracks at all this way.

Another helpful thing for when you don't have the top tracks is to equip improved hardening, as it grants you a 10% increase to load capacity.

Qb, to not waste xp when researching items, you can look into the comparison if you can mount gear and eq the gun it happened in the past that i researched the gun but it was too heavy

For me "back in the day" xp was never hard to come by. Credits were always the proverbial c**k block to moving up the tech tree. I would usually find myself having fully researched a tanks modules and unlocked the next tier but short a bunch of credits to buy it.

Panther 2 on Xbox 360 back in the early days. The game has a package upgrade system, you upgrade in packages, and the 2nd to last package (of 4 packages) gave you the best of everything except gun. You whent from the Lange Cannon to the Tier 6 8.8MM with 132Pen, yes, 132 Base Pen vs Tier 10’s. It was not fun at all.

Having just finished my first teir 9 stock grind in the T95 its relieving to know I wasnt the only one that suffered from that tank. I love it but the default gun and suspension are mind numbingly awful.

I got 10k xp on my first match in the bulldog. These x5 boosts and x3 daily boosts combined with 100% xp boosts and premium time make stock grinds so much easier.

The only way I could bear to grind stock tanks is to get the track equipment (Improved hardening in Equipment 2.0), so you could focus your XP spend on the top gun / turret.

I personally do the missions for topography, u can get more free Xp. I like them as well

One trick I do is swap a low xp crew member in to a premium tank with 4 or 5 skills for each crew. Then activate all bonuses and even ones that you can get in your clan. So that's 5 bonuses! I have a premium Account also. The reasoning is the crew member with the lowest skill is given double the xp. So if I have the rest of my crew at 4 or 5 skills then that other crew member gains double xp every time until it catches up with the rest of the crew. It really pushes those low skill crew up fast. I do this for all crew members. In a stock tank. Then I put the stock tank into battle with all the bonues. Really gives me an edge battle

If you use improved gardening equipment then you don’t have to research the tracks but you do have to give up a equipment slot
