Twitch was great when I didn’t have a lot going on in my own life. After the switch to YT, I got comfortable with the creator ecosystem and it was easy to know when you were live and I became a perma lurker who watched the livestreams when doing work on pc. Now its kinda hard to know when you are live aside from the Discord (ty Tim and Doll and sometimes Lud) which I don’t check too often. Multi streaming in this way is a neat compromise in my position but if it’s not something you plan to do often, I understand and hope to catch up later by watching the YT uploads. o7

Yea I don’t mind loading up twitch if I want to chat, but not having pause/rewind on twitch is terrible. I pause/rewind his streams all the time…or I did at least 😔

I'm also gonna hop in on this: in college I was a huge chatter on yours and Charlie's streams. After graduating and starting my job as a full time teacher I just don't have the energy/desire to chat; I just wanna watch. Please keep multi-streaming even if there's no chat on YT; it's such a better experience for me.

i've been thinking about it and i realized why i prefer youtube streams over youtube vods despite me not being a chatter ofc there's less and shorter ads, it runs better on mobile, you can rewind, etc. but the main benefit imo is that you can pause and then 2x speed the stream to catch up. so you can still be "in the moment" while prioritizing your life

The last time I played league was before the pandemic because I would play with my friends and I was so bad that they would always make fun of me. I raged all the time and sometimes called the enemy team hackers which they enjoyed. Since my rage satisfied them they would let me play with them unranked (I didnt have the level to play ranked anyways). After a fight over how they always made fun of me and werent my real friend I left them and with them also league behind. 12 hours ago I watched the stream of Lud called "HOW I HIT PLATINUM IN LEAGUE OF LEGENDS" and something woke up inside me like never before (hella cringe). I knew that he played league since a couple of months but never bothered to actually try it myself because I got flashback from before when I played and was to scared to get back into that bullshi. But after watching lud try his hardest and achieve his dream, I am now more pumped to get good at league than finishing college. Thank u lud for always being there in our hearts and phones

Ludwig is genuinely the 'best' streamer, in terms of just being an entertainer. I just watched a 2 hour video, that 'felt' like scripted, edited content. I mean this sincerely, nobody else is putting the quality into streams that Ludwig is.

Side note: Regardless of whether or not you multistream, I really like having the vod available right after the stream (even if the vod is on twitch honestly) you've been streaming pretty late for East Coast/Midwest lately so being able to wake up and watch the vod in the morning is nice.

please keep this method where you multi stream but just turn on off YT chat, it’s just so much better since I dislike the twitch layout for mobile, also I hate waiting for the vod to come up on the vod channel (ik it doesn’t take THAT long but this just feels 10x more convenient) I like coming home from work/school and having the vod ready to go instead of having to wait a couple hours or even a day to watch, I doubt anyone reads this but that’s just my thoughts, and ill support Ludwig either way

It reduces my desire to say dumb things in chat :) really appreciate it, lets me finish up the vod the next day too. no judgement on your sleep schedule, but these streams are too late for me in PST to catch the full thing so Ive loved being able to catch up the next morning! edit: also, I like being able to see the chat on screen! The Twitch vods showing up on the vod channel was missing them and it kinda bummed me out since it's fun to see what the chats doing when not watching live

I like the multiscreen. Becuase I like watching your stream right after you finish since I work overnights and can't watch live cuz I am sleeping weird batman hours. Waiting for a vod to or three days postpone makes me feel out of the loop as I enjoy being caught up like a TV show. i farrrrrr prefer to watch livestreams on twitch, for lack of analysis it just "feels better" that being the baseline, i cant believe theyre STILL letting KZbin's player dogwalk them on the VOD experience. their player is better for lives too like how can u not have rewind features at this point in the game. im an EU Frog, this stream started at 2am for me. most nights thats not gonna happen for me, i have work at 11am, i gotta get up at 9.30 at the latest. being able to see this vod is suddenly sm easier on here

Honestly when I heard that he got plat and checked his opgg (didnt watch any of the games of the final week) I was kind of suspicious with that winstreak and the good kdas. But now that i saw the gameplay i can tell its legit, he really just improved that much. What really eliminated all doubt was when he talked about pinging his teammates back and intuitively did the correct hand gesture (upwards) with his hands 😂 (sadly i lost the timestamp)

I hate to say it but this multi streaming makes sense. If the worry is that chat function being gone is confusing - I think people who don’t already know what’s happening, are not already on youtube. Discoverability is so low for livestreams on youtube that I doubt people who don’t know what’s going on will arrive. If viewers want chat culture they have it on twitch. Ludwig you got a built in audience with the name, you do what you can to cater to them, WHILE making sure you can still grow, balance. (Money and numbers? Don’t ask me.)

Found you on KZbin and really like your content. I reset my password on Twitch so I could throw you a Prime Sub. Twitch isn't nearly as good of stream quality as YT. Don't understand the opposition from people on Twitch to multistream. I do YT premium and don't have to deal with ads and it looks better, so I don't get why people are so attached to Twitch. Don't you already have twice as many following on YT as you do Twitch already?
