i remember the first video i watched of yours. it was this truck lifting a forklift that you lifted and loaded on a trailer.....i was "hooked". if people only knew how much time, effort, care, equipment cost, insurance and overhead it takes to hook up to and tow a truck....they may be a little more understanding of the cost. getting lined up at an angle sure can take a few tries. i agree about going over and beyond with the safety. that is a lot of weight that could harm folks or do a lot of damage quick! great video hal. really enjoy them all.

Nice job Mr. Hal. Once again you made it look easy. I wasn't paying much attention to the steer tires but when you were removing the drive shaft i notices that the drivers side drive tires looked well under 2/32 inch. I am sure the other side is bad too. I would advise them to get either new tires or caps. Stay safe out there.

Back when they first started the locking steering wheel, you would get a call to pick up a disable car and find it parallel parked and the steering wheel at an angle. Great job for the old Holmes 440. Pick and pull the front end, hookup and away you go.

Very important to make sure no pressure is on the drive shaft i know from experience. i was removing a shaft from a motorhome when it popped out and caught me in the face, was bad but did not kill me, some has not been as lucky.i knew better and had preached to my guys to always check that the shaft has no pressure on it before removal, got in a hurry my bad. i also carry a bottle jack and jack a rear wheel off the ground to get the pressure off if i can not get in neutral.be safe my freind.

great video i have never used underlift. my old truck never had it i quit towing for profit about the time wheel lifts were getting started have done some angle bed and flat bed towing. i thing the trucks should be equipped some way where they could be towed at least 100 miles without removing drive shaft. especially the manual trans atuomatics would be harder. again thanks for your hard work making the content i know it takes a lot of your time
