How I Install a Decoder with Lighting Effects

In this video I show you how I install a decoder with lighting effects in a model locomotive for DCC operations. I am installing a Digitrax decoder in an Atlas N scale locomotive with independent ditch lights for cool lighting effects. This is a great intermediate level electronics project for a model railroad. Thank you so much for this Ron. I'm saving this one for the near future when I dust out my 20-30 year old Kato and Atlas collection of DC locomotives which I will consider upgrading to DCC. Thanks for sharing. I got a DCC starter set and the locomotive is DCC ready and I’ve been dragging my feet, but this helps tremendously. Thank you!!👍🏼👍🏼😎🚑 on a different subject …… how would you apply no-ox to tracks in tunnels, bridges and hard to access hard to reach tracks, please?

If you have a means to clean those tracks, then apply no-ok to all the tracks you can reach and allow your locomotives wheels to carry it to those hidden tracks over time.
