I love tape-ins! So as a professional we don’t conditioner or apply product prior to application because any oil in between the tapes will cause the tapes to fall out a lot faster. You should be able to wear the tape ins for 4 months before they need to be removed and moved up. If the tape in is comprised you may be lucky to get a month of that out of wear! So just make sure you take the proper prep steps to application!
@nicaisenguemo86322 жыл бұрын
Thank you very much for the info🙏🏼🙏🏼 in between those four months am I allowed to wash my hair with the tape ins ? Cauz I am scared the glue might come off and the tape ins won't therefore stay longer

@@Jakia clip ins are the least damaging option for temporary extensions. Tape ins are adhered to the root as you observed. It’s semi permanent. You must use a separate technique to remove them. If clipins are ripping your hair out- tape ins may be worst. I have tried tape ins and micro links. I wear clips weekly.

@@SweetUareDesi but if I’m gonna be constantly putting the clip ins in everyday wouldn’t it make more sense to have a more permanent option? Because my hair is fine, the clips constantly snapping on my hair is what’s ripping it out

I found this video the day my new tape ins came. I have shorter thin hair and don’t really need 2 full packs but I lose some over time so it’s nice to have the extra pieces. I just started doing it to my own hair in April and everything you said in the video is 💯 how it goes 👌👌👌 it’s def a learning process and every time you install you/they get a little better every time and they will be staying in longer once you get it figured out. Literally the hardest part is getting your sandwich’s lined up perfectly 😅

@@Dime.Society I did! Have had em in since a couple days after this comment! I love them so far! I will probably be doing this as my main go to weave from now on I have 3C-4A, high porosity, fine stranded curls and this with other things that I'm slowly relearning, are really a game changer for me. at some point I may also try micro beads because I did accidentally purchase hair for that prior to this but I went with the tape-ins instead. I say gone ahead and try them it really for me wasn't worse than a sew in, it was actually better! edit: I forgot to mention I did these myself, but I did go to a hair stylist just for the flat ironing cuz mine was not doing the do😂 the install was easy it will take some practice for perfection. my next time will probably be better. the stylist actually included a few pieces when I went to her that she thought were needed, that I ended up taking out because I didn't like how she placed them and they were very easy to take out!

Just subscribed and loving it! I was always curious about how this technique was done. I have a question tho: I'm at the age of having summer heat year round, is this something that would be good for me? I'm a sweater😟 and my hair is the one place that gets a lot of it. Secondly, how do you remove the hair? You mentioned oil but a video on how to remove the hair would be very helpful. Other than that, you made the technique workable for the everyday layman. Keep those informative videos coming gurl!

Thank you so much for watching and subscribing!! I definitely want to get an in depth “How To REMOVE Tape In Extensions At Home” video made since it’s been highly requested from this video! I would say if you experience a lot of sweating on your head and want to try tape ins, get a hair texture that mimics your natural hair in it’s natural state. If your natural hair is very curly, I wouldn’t recommend getting straight tape ins, because it’s going to be very difficult, annoying, and damaging trying to straighten the root above the tape in placement everyday. If you purchase natural curl pattern tape ins that mimic your natural hair, it won’t be as noticeable that you’ve sweat by your roots. I hope this helped!! 💕💕
