its an everyday practice in thoroughbreds to hot towel them everyday. I do it on my broodmares everyday and I LOVE IT!

THANK YOU for talking about fragrance. I rarely use anything with fragrance anymore, not in my home or the barn, and if it does have a scent, it's all natural from essential oils. Love the idea to just do the straight jojoba oil on a hot wet rag as replacement for the coat conditioner, I'm doing that for sure!

Great tips as always! I like the idea of stall mattresses. Less shavings, I like that.👍 I would think that cuts down on expense overtime. Horses look amazing.

Yes! People ask me all the time what I use on my horses to keep them shiny, and I say a clean forage diet! I also never use shampoo except for maybe before a special race, but they honestly do so well with just hosing off.

Good luck in Clovis and grooming was my favorite part of having a horse, just being close to them and loving on them making them feel beautiful but of course, I loved riding also.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

you are right about what we put on our bodies. my doctor told me long ago use what is natural because you are feeding the tissues. I'm going to try the hot toweling on our mare that suffers from sweet itch. what shampoo do you like to use for your horses? thank you for sharing. you're a hard working Momma.

It’s so funny you talk about the crap in the background of peoples videos- and every video I watch of people trailering their horses and as they put them on the trailer, it looks like it hasn’t been clean in months! That’s my biggest moment of why the the actual f was that not completely sanitized from the last haul??
@casdragon_59397 ай бұрын
I get cleaning but sanitizing?? If you're a hauler sure but if its only your horses in the trailer sanitizing is overkill.
