How I Keep My Water Pipes From Freezing and Homestead Building Considerations for Cold Climates

This video is about my first year in the mountains trying to keep my water pipes from freezing. There's a lot of things I would have done differently building my cabin for sure. I guess this was a crazy 150% of normal snowfall kind of year though... Below zero degrees sucks!

To help with frozen water lines, get some heat tape that is on a sensor so when it gets below a certain temperature it turns the heat tape on.
