HOW I LEARNED DUTCH + DUTCH ALPHABET | FILIPINO LEARNED DUTCH

In this video I’ve shared my experience learning Dutch and the Dutch alphabets (to begin with) for those who wants to learn basic Dutch. I’m also still learning and by making videos like this helps me review the language rules at the same time share what I’ve learned or already know!
For those who have Dutch partners that are just planning to move here in the Netherlands, maybe this is something for you :)
Below are the written way (or sounds like) on how you can say and remember the Dutch alphabet easily:
A = ah L = L W = vay
B = bay M = M X = ix
C = say N = N Y = aye
D = day O = O Z = zet
E = A P = pay
F = F Q = qou
G = ghay R = er
H = hah S = S
I = ee T = tay
J = yey U = eu / uu
K = kah V = fay

Also studying Dutch using the Duolingo app since with the covid pandemic its hard to enrol now. Yeah its really hard because of the grammar rules na iba sa english grammar rules. Also planning to take the basic integration exam someday after covid to get an MVV. Hopefully I can pass all of of it.

True, the Dutch grammar is opposite to English so if you translate the English literally same order to Dutch, it will be totally wrong 😆 so complicated rules & a lot of unexplainable exceptions in Dutch grammar. Goodluck on your MVV journey!

Hi. Is the exam you mentioned that needs to be taken and pass is required as basic requirement to get a Visa to Netherlands for visit or just for moving there? Is it also very difficult or just basic questions about Dutch language? 🥺 Thank you. Mijn vriendje is Dutch. 🇳🇱🇵🇭

The exam is only required for those moving here so if you’re visiting (by tourist visa) it’s not a requirement. In the future if you decide to move here with your bf then you will have to take that exam. Intergration exam is basic about the Dutch language, society & culture, not difficult if you study it.
