Look at celebrations as a set and what it possibly give to collectors as well as its sealed packaging, I view it as an eventuality and would be bold enough to say I have more than the average sealed collector as such. I know it will surge as sealed especially as people want to open it. All the cases I’ve gotten have gone up more than 25%

we all fumbled especially with Darkness bro....i bought like 5 booster boxes and then another 5 of friggin Battle Styles lol. No charizard or Tyranitar either legit just a waste of $1000+...those of us that got into it/back into it during the pandemic had no idea the sets they were dropping were complete trash especially in hindsight now that i know everything i do there is no excuse to drop banger sets like Comsic Eclipse and Team-Up then after that go ahead and drop some of the worst sets. They have been doing a MUCH better job with Scarlet/Violet just much better artwork now. Crazy to think we were just eating up those trash sets like candy bahahaha.

I am with you with some of the items in this video. Although I would expect a sealed legit XY Evolutions Booster Box to slowly increase over time. Its a booster box, the sealed supply will dry up, the cards are fantastic to open. I have one in my collection but I will hold on to this one.

Great vid mate....sooo, I've decided to sell my entire CZ master set but I'm selling it off in singles. Mistake, what do you think? The only reason I'm doing it this way is because master sets aren't very liquid. I'll be putting the money I make from them into sealed.

CZ hasn’t even popped off yet… I would recommend holding unless you need the money or wanting to invest in something else. 🙏

I agree with king! Unless you need it now, I’d wait 6-12 months! And selling it as singles is gonna succcck and take a lot of time/sales… I think id just try to find a cash buyer and take the hit! Once it spikes of course ;)

I think it's important to distinguish whether you want short-term or long-term investments (of course, you can choose both at the same time). If it's short-term, your observation is correct that sometimes people can make mistakes, but of course, that's not something we can control, and sometimes things can turn out well and prices rise. However, if you're thinking about long-term investments, those products could explode in value 10-20 years from now (though they could also stay stagnant), but you have to understand that some products may only become sought after 10-30 years later and realize their potential. Of course, it's not enough if the price doubles over time; it needs to increase multiple times, at least tenfold, since money loses value over time, etc. Considering this, long-term investment makes sense. Specifically, products like the Zacian box, Celebrations Pokémon Center ETB, and more expensive booster boxes shown in your video could potentially be worth a lot.

I buy everything at close to MSRP. I know it completely limits your options but it's extremely scary for me to buy something when it's at a high or potentially at its high. If you buy a specific set and it's not going up or it's going down right away just hold it hold it hold it and eventually it will be worth money. Some return on investment will be quick and some will be slow and some will even be a loss and you have to be ready for all of it.

It’s easy to follow what other people are doing. How can anyone know for sure how a set will perform in a certain time frame. Darkness ablaze and vivid voltage might not perform well yet, doesn’t mean it won’t do well another 3 or 5 years down the road. Easy to say at hindsight. Unlike stocks of a company, it’s not like Pokemon box has earnings where you can quantify or give a valuation. There’s something called P/E or Price over Earning ratio in finance. Pokémon cards only has Price and no Earnings. Essentially, the price is what people are willing to pay for the set. Just collect what you enjoy. Trying to predict or give a valuation on Pokémon cards is silly.
