i got evicted from my apartment. I didn't even know what that means until it happened to me, and i had to figure it all out by myself.
in this vlog, I share the unfiltered process of how I lost my apartment in beijing, figured out where to live, and tried to build a routine, all the while packing to move out of the apartment on very short notice.
it sucks to have to throw all my plans away, but I learned that I don't need to depend on stability to build a routine.

Aiiii... getting evicted by surprise for no fault of your own is bad enough, having to get out in 5 days is madness. I think I would have a hard time packing my stuff in 5 days. Let alone having to arrange some other place to stay.... And you just decide to go to the theatre, I would probably just sit there in anxiety and the whole performance would get past me. You're a strong woman you can manage this!

to be fair I also spent a lot of time sitting there in anxiety hahaha...just can't afford to do it in the theater because the tickets were not cheap😂

I had that experience too in Shanghai. They knocked down one side of wall in my apartment. The kitchen was completely ruined by law enforcement. I was very disappointed at how i was being treated as a person. That had me make my mind to live somewhere else outside China. If you wonder why I got evicted, it's just a law suddenly passed to prohibit house owner leasing out one unit to more than tenants. No grease period given. And they broke in my house while I was on a work trip.
