There is a saying that goes: People Who Enjoy or Like Being Alone Without being Lonely Are Extremely Powerful Individuals.Loneliness is the poverty of self and solitude is the richness of self. Community is important, I crave for it sometimes but I seem to be always busy with work.However, I love time by myself and I also don't like talking on the phone.

Thanks for sharing about being an introvert. Many of us think something is "wrong," but there really isn't! I love spending time solo where nobody else is (and I've learned it's healthy). Community is critical! Also, my favorite part of this video was you making your bed and Tobi being in the way...dogs are the best!

At the korean market look for Jayone brand canned kimchi (they also make the popular brand of soybean and chili pastes). You may turn your nose up at canned kimchi, but that'd be a mistake. They have different ones, but the one I get is "stir fried kimchi", it comes in a smallish can about the size of green chilies or something, and it's the perfect amount for one cup of rice. you can get a side of rice from your favorite takeout place or make it fresh then just dump it in the pan and heat it up, add some frozen peas and diced tofu or whatever you like, and you've got a perfectly seasoned kimchi rice dish. It's canned so obviously it keeps forever, and it's really quick and convenient and yummy.
@SarahShamblin Жыл бұрын
Ooooh, I’ve actually never heard of canned kimchi. Does that mean it doesn’t have to be refrigerated? This could be a game changer.
@nickschultz3259 Жыл бұрын
@@SarahShamblin No refrigeration needed unless you open the can, but the cans are small enough (5 oz. I think) that you'll finish it off in one go. I also use it to fancy up my instant ramen (Shin Ramyen), along with green onions and what not. Look for that "stir fried kimchi" one, it's very good.

Sarah, as a fellow introvert, getting away from California should be job #1 for improving your mental status. One day you will look back at the time you did this in your life. Memories are what define the inner self because only you can remember. When life gets stuck in repeat, then its time to make new memories. These are the seasons of life. What season do you find yourself in? Which memories do you save for yourself alone? Do you ever feel like you need someone close to make intimate memories? Time is the thread that keeps us all stitched together. ❤

So your alone to find yourself? Can you do caregiving? Although that might require a residence. I know I myself have been alone all my adult life, I didn't do the marriage thing due to my excluded life. Moreover I'm still alone. I've been through counseling more than once. I have trouble with others as much as you. I don't think I have ADHD and my diagnosis that followed me here and wherever I went, no one would re-diagnose. So I'm alone due to B.S. in my youth or acting out in my youth, let's just leave that as that. At times it has been wrenching. So why did you become alone?
