how i'm getting zine inspiration

something i learned recently: inspiration can come from anywhere. sounds obvious, but when you're working on a zine, you might feel like other zines are your main source of inspiration. inspiration is medium-independent! in this video, i talk through some recent books and magazines that are inspiring my own zine : )

I feel you re the difficulty of prioritizing points of inspiration bc I find that I get hungrier and more curious than my little mind can process once I start finding a series of interests -- each new discovery opens up another web of related points! I like yr choice of "sequence" here, which somehow feels kinder than "prioritize"

yeah it’s like i can’t learn things fast enough! def feel that on sequencing versus prioritizing too - prioritizing feels like you can’t get to something in the end, when with hobbies or interests, i just gotta have patience that i’ll get to everything eventually and enjoy the way 🤩
