When you use Fast Track be sure to put a piece of foam board s the top layer of the table. This will dampen the sound.

Sound like you have a big project ahead of you. You really do not need 2 bus lines to the far distant track. The outer rails are the ground and so send th electricity back to the source. You need the center feeder wires only. Save yo a lot of wire to do just the center rail. You use flux when soldering the wires to the track. Flux would also make soldering the tracks together easier.

Ok Papaville, I'll have one end of the Bus wire to the transformer and then the other end to the track while splicing to the track every 5ft correct??

That’s about right. 5-6ft works

When you use a junction block - you can jus strip the insulation off of a short piece of wire then you can just screw the bare wire to the terminals you want all together. No need to use those crimp on spade lugs. Easier and less work and cost.

Thanks, the automatic, feeding ones I’ve seen look like they’re very cheaply made. I’ve also seen a couple of review videos on them and again they don’t seem like they’re that good too many problems with them.

At time 20:15, it appears that you have wired a direct short, red to black and black to red.

Where did you get all those connectors? Can I get them at Menards?

I got my from Amazon, just search , T-tap wire connectors. I checked Menards web site and didn’t see them. Although there are different versions of this type of connectors available at Menards.
