KDP really works, if you do it the right way. I had a company for almost 2 years, a one-man operation doing about 4k per month. Then I decided to publish a book with my expertise and used Sean´s tips (kw research etc.) and positioned it really well and I am doing 4k monthly since I published it in october. I'm a manufacturing designer and I've been watching your channel a few weeks. After seeing your video on the financial planner killing it on a mediocre book, I decided to upload my own financial planner I made for myself. It is still under review but it allowed me to understand the process to publish a book, I saw your video at 9 in the morning and I had it in a PDF and uplaoded by that night at 9pm under a pen name. I plan to pursue this with my full effort with all of my free time for 12 months and take your course when i can make enough from Amazon to pay for it. What amazes me most in this video is the mentality expressed. I started with Amazon KDP only to have another passive income, 100-200€ per month it’s my goal, instead here we are talking about creating a real scalable business, growth, profits. Wow, it makes me feel small and stupid. On the other hand, I really congratulate you. I am positively envious of your way of thinking big. Where did you learn? Here's the thing with the low content books. I put a couple out to test it and when I put out a trilogy of short fiction stories amazon immediately assumed they were low content books and I had to go through a process to tell them they were not low content books. It was really quite annoying. I like to make them as special books for my readers but amazon has messed up a couple of times somehow blaming me for copyright issues on my own self written stories I made up without any other work or AI. It ruined my whole marketing scheme. Their answer? "oh, just redo to and republish it" without any concern how much effort I put into getting reviews and sales. I get this kind of problem with places all of the time. I don't know why. It's about time it stopped. So I'm really afraid to even put out a little fun special edition or calendar to match my multiverse of horror or Amazon might flag me for nothing again.

Great presentation, no KZbinr has done something similar as far as I know! Still what I don't understand is how you sold your KDP account? if it was a personal account that means you gave away the login info? and changed all personal details to the ones of the buyer? or you have multiple accounts under LLCs and you sold this one LLC to the buyer? under KDP rules you can have only one KDP account. Can you shed a light on that part of the selling process? all the best Sean!

He shared the details in one of his videos, can't remember which one. He clarified everything with KDP beforehand, then he went on a Zoom Call with the buyer and did the password and details switch on scrrenshare. Still a bit sketchy imo, but maybe there was additional security

I have a question that someone might possibly answer. I have a full length "high content" book in both ebook and paperback and also audible, with 437 ratings and a 4.3 average. Eighty percent of my ratings and reviews are 5's and 4's and yet I sell maybe ten books a month. Where can I advertise to boost sales? I have no friends or family to help promote this book that took over three years to write and though I've given thousands of ebook copies away and hundreds of pages are read daily through KDP sales remain a trickle.

This is great as long as people don't try to create their books using AI. I'm seeing tons of trash flooding the market due to AI. Design patterns that look good on paper, but don't work out in reality, books talking about some topic that again look great on paper, but are total B.S. or are out-of-date.
