Sean, those people who don't respect ghostwriters don't understand writing. All of those memoirs, auto-biographies of famous people were written by ghostwriters. For those big gigs, like writing a movie-star or Hilary Clinton's story, etc., that is mega-bucks, they get thousands of dollars and a cut of the royalties. Just sayin' - ghostwriting is a valid occupation. I took a couple ghostwriting classes, although I never did get a gig doing that, I wrote for trade magazines and horse magazines. And, now, learning from you and your other experts in Royalty Hero. Lovin' it!!

due to the glut of books on Amazon, it seems that where the money is made is ghost writing books for people rather than trying to write and sell the book yourself. If writing your own book made more sense/profits the ghost writing companies would be focusing on that.

Hey it’s $1997 We show you how to do every step either by outsource (paid) or DIY (free) so it’s up to you on how much or little you want to spend per book Typically we like to aim to make $300-500 per book

I know someone who tried to upload a coloring book that was partially created with AI, but the book was rejected by Amazon for "poor customer experience". When uploading the book, she check-marked that she'd used "some AI" to create the book -- was that the reason the book was rejected? Is Amazon filtering out AI-generated content? Second question: can I record my own audiobook and upload it with my self-published book?
