I'm legitimately baffled by your account of this experience in correlation to pricing. If all of what you recall is accurate, that was a fairly straight forward and uncomplicated heavy call, and your pricing will not garner any "luck" towards recieving many similar future calls, additionally it's likely that insurance adjuster lost their job if they exist. I'm not trolling you. I actually enjoy other videos you've posted. I have a phone full of heavy towing photos of wrecks we've cleared and will happily share them, just figured it would be in poor taste to post any here, if even possible.

Thanks for your support. I billed $450 an hr for a 40 Ton Wrecker. Realistically the insurance company dragged there feet for 57 days (which accrued storage for 7 pieces) trying to pin the blame on someone. Thats why the bill was so high. This call was very involved. All of the bigger companies here turned it down.

@@towuniverse2443 that makes sense. I knew when I fired it off there had to be something more. Makes sense the majority came from storage. Guess I'm just used to seeing many companies fulfilling a stereotype that shadows an otherwise necessary and good industry. Further, at the moment I had been temporarily disappointed because I have otherwise enjoyed watching your content and believe you provide utility in several capacities. I appreciate you clarifying and will continue watching your content.

@@musicchartsinc.7617 Tow book doesn't give calls, It's simply a dispatching software for internal dispatching, if you have accounts you can set them up to digitally send them to your towbook account but those are 3rd parties contracting calls out to you through towbook, not towbook contracting you for calls. This would have been either a "cash customer" call where the owner of this truck and trailer called him directly, It would have been a police or fire department calling him to clear and remediate the scene being as it was a public roadway, or it would have been the insurance company, although that one is the least likely as usually insurance isn't involved until much later.
