How I made $170 Risk Free Betting on the World Cup 2022 (Using Arbitrage Betting)

👋🏻 Hey guys! In today's video, I explain how I used maths to make money from an arbitrage betting opportunity on the Qatar World Cup 2022. This takes advantage of a special bookmaker promotion (Betr) and hedging it with Betfair. This method is called arbitrage betting as it is risk free betting - you make money no matter what happens. I use this example to demonstrate how arbitrage, positive EV betting and hedging works. Hope you guys can find it insightful but please do more research first on arbitrage betting before betting any of your actual money.

Isn't the issue with not laying this bet that you can't actually bet on 100's of world cup winners in order to realise the positive EV over a long time horizon? As it was a one off event would have thought hedging would have been the best approach.

Congrats bro. Great video there. In arbitrage betting, you are betting for either one of the teams to win in one book marker and, the other team to lose in another book marker. But what if at regular time both teams are at a draw?

What if I told you BlueBet were paying out $51 for Australia to beat Denmark and the score to be odd, and aus to win 1-0 was going @$11 on the exchange, that’s till me and my syndicate hammered the price in. Made infinite amount of money, only cap was your principal.

If I have golden state to win at 101 to make $1000, why can't you just bet $500 on the lay and change the lay odds to $2 to return $1000 as well if they don't win. your liability is only $500 and you profit $500 either way?
