I still use my dual hammershots to this day, even 5 years later. Recently I opened them up, cleaned out all the sand particles lodged inside (I dropped them at a beach one time), put GavinFuzzy's 8 dart cylinder and a power spring inside. They feel brand new and better than ever before.

when my friend first let me try his hammershot, i immediately fell in love with its style and usability. not many nerf blasters can be fired and cocked with only one hand, and hammershot dualing feels so cool. my friend didn't like how simplistic the hammershot is, but i like how reliable it is because of its simplicity.

I own two hammershots, one with the orange mod works kit (updated) that I’m painting up, and another that I removed the air restrictor from and plan on cutting out part of the shell and integrating some pvc for rear loading, with the blaster parts kit and moar barrels.

#fft I think it's still very relevant because of dual wielding and you can always cut the shell and ream the cylinder to rear load half darts or even full dart if you cut it big enough.

A very pretty color scheme, and aptly named as well I must say!! The orange mod works company has many very cool mods for several nerf blasters, and last time I checked are in the works to make their own blasters, which is promising!! I must recommend you try out Adventure Zone's Waffle Head Darts, around $9.99 at walmart for 200 darts! Way more accurate than those terrible elite darts, just food for thought! The hammershot is one of my top favorite nerf blasters as well, and I plan on doing some overhauls to mine first, but I'm working on my evaders first, then my hammershots (I have 2 of each of those at the moment). There are also 7 round cylinders available in several colors, and that's the cylinders I want. Also, there is a metal hammer/trigger set from germany, a company called Blasterparts, and their hammer is more elongated, which helps with fan firing a revolver like this (fan firing is the 'slamfire' method cowboys used with single action revolvers in the wild west days). Great work though, and sleek looking hammershot sir!! #fft - I absolutely would buy more hammershots today, as they are in my top 5 blasters of all times!!
