yeah!! i layer most of my sounds! i always try to beef up sounds by combining different ones that have different qualities. for example, a juno pad might be very warm and lushy but lack some attack and punch, so i combine it with another pad that has more of that quality. together it will sound much better!!

dude don't ask me hahahah! two years ago i did all this stuff on vocals to make it sound bigger, thicker, louder, whatever. i don't use the bass amp anymore, but it did add some nice low mid to the vocal and some high end. but i've found better ways to do that now haha
