No, that's not what happened. He was RPing for me to kill him. I dueled him to low health, and then challenged him to a Mak'gora. If you /duel someone you can /concede before they accept/the duel starts and cancel it. I challenged him to a Mak'gora after the 1 hp, because I was trying to set up a safety net in case he was trying to grief instead of roleplay that he wanted to be killed or whatever. When he got up and used a potion and started putting his gear on, I did /concede but apparently that doesn't work in a Mak'gora like with a duel. I also started to /logout early in case he tried to pull some bullshit so yeah, he said he was roleplaying. I was skeptical. He tried to scam/grief me and kill, but was unsuccessful... however I get a 72 hour debuff that I lose 20% effectiveness of my character so I might as well be dead and have to reroll anyway: so that is what enabled the roleplay of sacrificing Esdingo the Coward. He had every intention of griefing, but we took that and made something good out of it.
