Hi Jay - much appreciate you sharing your knowledge, cheers! A quick question regarding a leveraged position I have at the moment if I may. I took a x3 position on SOL when it was at $30 on BitGet and I'm just leaving it run. Plan to leave it run for the next 6 months at least. The 'amount available' keeps building up and I'd like to use it to compound the trade. Just not sure which s the best way to go about it. Should I close the trade and add in the extra amount available from time to time - or should I somehow add that amount available into the existing trade without closing it? Not sure which would be the best way to compound the trade in the most efficient way. Thanks man!

I wouldn’t close the position since right now with your current entry, you basically can never get liquidated. I’d add to the position with extra fiat on big pullbacks

@@BitcoinDailyTV Thanks Jay - had to close the Cross position I had with Bitget and open an Isolated right away as you cannot add to your margin with Bitget when using Cross. Will be adding to the position on bigger pullbacks as you suggest.

One other thing that just occurred to me - Bitget shows an available amount on the trade which goes up and down depending on how much price goes up and down. Should I be taking that available amount off when there is a decent bounce and add it to my margin when there is decent dip in price? Basically sell the bounce, buy the dip as we go along. @BitcoinDailyTV

Hi im a new subscriber... Thanks for the helpful video on options .. i was wondering where to put stop loss for Put short that will expire in a week or 8 days if i buy 300 contracts BTC... Lets say i have $400 capital

Glad to have you here! That’s probably the most difficult part when it comes to these. This has more to do with intuition and analysis than anything else. Rule of thumb for me is to only risk 5-10% per position and never use more than 70% of my capital at one time. Then helps survive any initial spikes down. But it’s hard to say where to put stops, that’s more based on analysis and how much time you have left on contracts. For the 21st expiries, if you’re close to green I’d wait a little bit. If we see price breach major levels then it could be a sign to close. There’s not an exact answer really

Everyone everywhere is talking about how they are going to sell the top and buy back into the bear to increase the number of bitcoin they hold, even OGs are saying this. If everyone is thinking this way it aint happening. Every time it looks like the top is in people will sell and it will take off again leaving them on the sidelines having to buy back in higher reducing the number of bitcoin they hold. This is the begining of the supercycle which will be like gold going from $500 to $2k over a period of two weeks with Mr Fred Chui....
