MATERIAL LIST IN DESCRIPTION‼️ FAQs: • Isn't it too heavy?! - The foam clay actually weighs as much as the paper of the mask! It is a special kind of clay designed to be put in slimes and things like that so it is very light. • Can I make a mask even though I'm not a therian?! - Yes!! Masks are for anyone who wants them. • Can you use cardboard?? - I have never used cardboard before! I would recommend looking at @BirdyDog's tutorial. Guys please stop saying, "You should do it this way instead." The whole point of this video is me showing you how *I* make my masks. I'm not looking for criticism! It's okay if you make your masks differently - I'm not saying this is the best/only way to do it.

A little tip for anyone who comes across this comment, if you want to have a shiny nose to make it a bit more realistic, you can either paint it with shiny paint or use mod podge, or both!! this is an amazing tutorial, will probably test it out :)

The water to soften the paper is so smart! Also, if you don’t have clay, you can use squishy foam! (like the kind in pillows and mattresses) You should be able to find some at hardware or craft stores.

For those who don't have fur, I like to use cotton balls for inner ear fur! I also saw someone do paper for eye mesh. Hope this helps! ♡

I tried using foam clay once, I’m not sure if it was just really bad quality, but it’s so heavy! I didn’t follow this tutorial because I didn’t even know you existed- but I did use foam clay, I had to use quite a bit of foam to make the nose bits softer bc it was straining on my nose

Tip for making the muzzle: Put something light and airy inside to help the mask not be as heavy in the front, paper towels or tin foil work great, and you can leave a hole in the bottom to remove it. Helps if you wear it with quads or just outside, not as heavy

Also! Don’t line the inside with felt, it absorbs sweat and can make it more uncomfortable to wear. Coming from a fursuit maker, use a spandex/lycra for the inside. Nice, cooling, and doesn’t absorb sweat. Great video, just wanted to add this c:

the clay is as light as the paper of the mask so that isnt a problem, and what i line with is my choice! when i do commissions i allow the buyer to coose what materials i use, but this was a personal mask.
