Mounts like the Nether Drake, Nether Ray or the even the Crane's from MoP (golden lotus) felt very unique and connected to the factions which rewarded them. The WoD factions only give you boards and wolves mostly. Most of the time the design doesn't even remind you of said faction. Why is the grinning Reaver not the faction Mount of the Laughing Skull? Its design fits 100%. Instead they got Wolf#8. Thats upsetting to me.

I know you said you usually skip Dragon Soul, but I still think it's a pretty good option too. Just tested on my rogue, netted 2.2k gold from a DS heroic run, and it took me 30 minutes from my garrison to the end, so over 4k gold/hour easily. Getting there isn't so bad if your hearth is in Pandaland (port to dalaran -> port to Caverns of Time). And with Shatt/Dala portals in Shrine, and a Stormspear portal in my garrison, don't really see a reason NOT to have my hearth there. Anyway, my personal runs are DS, BoT, Firelands, BWD. Takes about an hour and a half total, and a safe estimate is 6500g overall. Plus a bunch of different mounts to get. Really safe bet is a rogue since with the squish, Leeching poison makes you fully invincible.

Hehe, I've pretty much been doing the same stuff. 12 Garrisons make goldcap really really easy. I'd actually recommend doing Dragon Soul 25Heroic too. Even without using the gem clusters its about 2x as much gold per run as Bastion of Twilight and Blackwing Descent. Having Hearthstone in Shrine makes it quick to get to Dragon Soul (via Dalaran), or you can buy the ring to teleport to Dalaran for 6.2k gold. Any caster can also pick up the "A Legendary Engagement" Quest to teleport pretty much to the entrance. If you abandon it after the teleportation and don't turn it in you can keep using it to Teleport to Caverns of Time. The Salvage Yard makes a LOT of gold too, especially at rank 3 and you can also get a rank 1 Trading Post to turn your Garrison Resources into Trade Goods to sell every so often (Dust, Fur or Leather will probably sell best).

Mikee Tyson As a Horde player I don't have an easy way to get to Bastion of Twilight and Blackwing Descent, as such I really dont understand the complaints about the travel time to Dragon Soul. I do agree that Ultraxion Trash takes a while and Spine takes some time too, but I run Dragon Soul in 21 minutes on my main character. Besides that I think BWD takes longer for me to solo than 10 minutes, I'll have to time that some time though.

John Doe BWD is extremly fast, BoT is a little bit slower, and go from undercity to Bot-BWD heart back. thats what i do on my horde char.

I think what you're doing is pretty standard for the people who sit on a lot of gold (old raids, medallions, felblight, bloods). I don't actually farm raids for gold, rather for the mounts, but ultimately it nets me a good chunk of change. The way I make all of my gold is I buy/sell/level pets. I purchase rare pets (RLH, Red/Blue/Green Whelps, Hatespark, +tons of others), level them to 25, then re-sell. I have toons on 3 different high pop servers, and some on low/medium pop. I'll search the AH (mostly by undermine), buy rare pets at low prices, then sell. It's a little work, but when I talk about making gold, I'm talking about millions.

+Gameo Just to add, you don't always need to level pets to resell them. But ultimately a level 25 pet is going to sell for 2-5k more, just due to level. If you purchase a Hatespark for 20k, you could sell it most likely for 40-60k @ level 1, so it may not be worth leveling to 25 unless there are others being sold on your realm (level 25 differentiates you). Now, a 10-12k pet may be worth leveling because it can easily sell for 15k being @25.

Asmon, how do u feel about using Garrison resources and dropping them on Sumptous fur/dust and throwing them on the AH? It gets me a decent amount of gold back and i try to stay above 3.5k resources just incase. 200 dust is about 1100 resources

You didn't mention the new garrison missions that have rewards that sell for a lot of gold. Even now, a Coalfist Gronnling mount sells for 8-10k. The XP boost pot, 1000 garrison resource consumable and the follower +50 weapon/armor boost will also bring in a decent amount of gold. And the great thing about those, basically passive other than putting them up on the AH. Another idea would be to start buying dust/fur from the trading post with extra GR. Buy when those are 4 GR each, wait for a day that those resources spike in value on the AH and sell.

+Asmongold After the gold mission nerfs, you can't plan for high value gold missions either. But you can take advantage of them :) Seems like the 6.2 rare missions pop every week or so. And 6 (?) of them will give you a pile of gold. Not great if you have 1 level 100. But with 11 on a server, that gold starts adding up over time.

There are missions that give 20 & 30 primal spirit, one requires 660 ilvl followers and the other one 675. By doing these missions (on all chars) you can buy savage blood with them and sell them on the AH. I had around 5k primal spirit across 4-5 characters and sold around 200 savage bloods that way.

You can get to DS pretty easy actually. Buy a ring in Dalaran (it also gives you the achi) which has a teleport ability to Dalaran. You can also use the Argen Crusade tabard and teleport to ToC grounds and fly quick to Dalaran. Now why Dalaran if we are talking about DS...well Dalaran has a portal to CoT and so basically you do two-three clicks and you are there in 30sec-2min at most.

Hey Asmongold, I've been watching your videos for quite awhile. I do very much like your mentality to making this mater. - wow related. I'd like to encourage you to take another look into farming wolfs for barn work. Although yes, it takes time go about doing so, I find it pays quite nicely. 100g a savage blood 6 savage bloods a day 6 toons. Roughly equals 3000g a day plus fur, which on my servers sell very nicely. However, being a blacksmith, I instead use these bloods to craft essences for item upgrades that into would ratio 30 savage bloods up to almost 2:1 I.e. 200% without the input of crafted regents and sorcerous regents. This also is beneficial, using your farmed kazzak fel blights, to make such crafted gear stage 6. Which in turn is also a great mark up considering what each regent sells for. Another in your daily farm of medals and demiois, i suggest if your class has viability, also solo the three rares of highmaul for there chance at pets. A great income for an high geared player. Resulting from almost 6k a pet. Thanks for your videos, until next!

I was able to dop Demidos on my 695 Enchance shaman, just made sure to use healing surge every time Maelstrom Weapons procced, used my Mirror trinket, Storm Elemental, Ascendance as well as my other CD's immedietly and it was relatively doable, probably less so for any of my other toons at that level though, my Enchance is pretty CD heavy which helped alot

Farming all 4 bosses in Taanan jungle on 6 or 7 alts every day would require you to play an insane amount of time every day. You need to be in the area already and have a flying mount ready to start flying their direction within 30 seconds of them spawning or they will be dead and their individual respawn rates are over an hour.

I've been making money with savage bloods because I've been grinding out Apexis crystals on all of alts to get them to at least 675. I get a lot of primal spirits which I turn them into savage blood. Now, I'm grinding to 675 IL on all my alts because of those special treasure missions that spawn weekly where you can get a mount, medallions, champion honor, etc. it's a good extra bit of gold every week that could possibly remain valuable into future expansions.

in the mage tower there is a floating chick that offers a quest to go to end time dungeon it's the same npc that gives the staff legendary quest. take the quest take her port then leave the instance and abandon the quest to be able to tp in the future. boom you are right next to DS and it only took a couple mins.

+Chris Goetchius Master Plan A , I use it. When you get 10 + maxed toons, it makes garry farmin effortless. I make 1k min. per farm alt a day I sell/(vendor what's bop) everything. I don't count big sellers as their not consistent. But with Master Plan A, it takes 20 mins (ah posting time included) a day. So 10k + a day for 20 mins time =free wow tokens, and all the gold you, need/want/can use, hehe. :) Have Fun !!

I have 11 characters at level 100, same faction, same server. If I run all 4 main cataclysm raids I will make 93.5k gold a week average, and that's just vendoring everything I pick up, so no relying on auctions or anything. I also have 11 level 3 barns going nonstop pushing out fur and savage blood. That's about 6.6k a day just for blood and another 3-4k in fur.

I'm getting ready for Legion. I've never been one to make a ton of gold.. Even in WoD, I think max I've had is about 350k that's total since WoD was released. In comparison that's chump change to most people. I'm going to head into Legion with about 4 different characters, all of them have some sort of farming.. and now I"m leveling a scribe since they changed the way you can respec. I'm going to jump in and sell as many mats as I can in the beginning before the prices drop.

hey this was a great video. I managed to earn over 1mil gold in WoD as well and something i did differently from you was the profession system. I either farmed mats from garrisons or bought stuff like cloth to make bags epic crafted weapons darkmoon cards anything and everything professions from my 90-100s I did them daily alongside my garrison missions and sold created items as they came. I also did many of the tips you mentioned but some noteworthy ones i'll try to partake in are the pet selling and legion token farming(i've found a few but had no idea how now i do thanks)

People doing gold guides that have "like 20k gold on their characters" are probably 1 of 2 people; 1) Bad People To Make Guides As You Said 2) People that SPEND the gold they farm, because you seem to be hoarding gold Asmon and for a lot of people this virtual currency doesn't make them feel like a millionaire in real life. There's very little point in hoarding gold considering the inflation that happens with every expansion. 3) People who use Bots to farm gold and have multiple accounts (I'm even amazed how many of those people there are).

You could just do the BC battle pet raids like the rarer ones all sell for 5-8k on my server like the tideskipper, any of the pets from hyjal, some of the fragments from BT, and the Karazhan pets as well. A lot of the other pets sell for around 1-2k so it's not exactly a jackpot but it's really easy gold once you get a pattern down
