Another great video Jerika ;-) I've been making my own skincare products for over 10 years now, and will be launching my own line hopefully by the end of the year. One tip I discovered years ago that helped me with water phase, is to begin with hot water. This will ensure that dry ingredients melt super well plus, it helps expedite the temps of both phases.

Thank you for explaining what each ingredient does . When you read the labels of face creams they just seem like words you can’t relate too . But now I know what they really do .

Hi Jerika, what a great informative video! The details incorporated in every step of the process in addition to the why concerning the specific products and beneficial effects and usage on the skin and info concerning the professional DIY mindset use of a PH adaptor when creating facial and skin care products really took this video to top notch! Great job! Thanks again, I loved it. And will be returning subscriber. Sherry.

Jerika, I have a question regarding when you say you are heating up your ingredients to x degees and then hold it for 20 minutes, what do you mean by that? Do you leave it in the water still simmering or do you turn off the heat and let it sit in the water for 20 minutes? TIA.. This cream looks amazing but my concern is the ceramide complex is very expensive in the liquid. I was wondering if there is a way to use the dry cerimide complex? Or is there a substitute? TIA Debbie

Hi Jerika! I just signed up to your patreon after watching you make this amazing rose facial lotion because I just HAD to have the recipe!!! 🌹💞. I was given a rose shea lotion a few years ago by a friend who makes their own soaps and lotions, and became obsessed with her lotion. I tried several times to replicate it thru other diy KZbin videos and it always felt short somewhere. I just wanted to say that after making this lotion from your recipe on patreon I am so happy and excited to finally have the lotion I’ve been trying without success to make for a few years now. I omitted a few of the ingredients as I was having difficulty finding them online (ceramide is a bit difficult to find), and there were a few others that I was able to leave out without issue. Just wanted to say THANK YOU so much for sharing this video and the recipe! 💞🫶🏻 I cannot thank you enough for your generosity in sharing this amazing diy rose facial lotion.

FYI hydrolyzed proteins must be added in cool down. Proteins denature when they are exposed to heat (that's what happens when we cook meat, LoL 😁)

Hi Jerika, another great video! Could you tell me, did you take any courses for formulating lotions or do you have a specific site you go to, to learn how to formulate? I've got a few great recipes but I'd love to create my own someday.

Great video and lovely product. I will give you an advice though...niacinamide is a tricky active ingredient and is working only at a certain pH , so you should add it at the end after you tested your pH 😉 Love what you are doing❤

I have been doing this for a long time and I still like to watch others do stuff. You have a great way of explaining what everything does and why you choose it. Anyhoo.. I think you should do a video sharing branding, logo and name registry , business registry, insurance and What type of insurance, book keeping, inventory management and time management as an entrepreneur. I watch so many different videos of people and how they do it. I find there's always something new to learn or a small tip there can be implemented into my business that I think are really helpful for all the new kids starting very small businesses
