Edita Zilinskyte I’m pretty sure it’s because all of the games that they were good at were chosen first. For instance, Parkour warrior was the first game played with a 1.0 coin multiplier. They all did really well and Dream was the only one to finish the course. But because the coins weren’t worth as much, they weren’t able to rack in more points. Sand of Time was the last game with a 3.0 (not positive on that, correct me if I’m wrong) coin multiplier. They weren’t doing that great in that game so the points were worth more but they just weren’t able to score as much in that game. Overall though, it was a fun event and everyone did amazing.

I used to help organize something like this for a TF2 server on a regular basis, two teams of 8-10 per side. It ended up being a team of 3 of us sitting on Skype once a week for 1-2 hours to sort through the signup list and try to create two balanced teams and avoid people we knew didn't get along. I can't imagine trying to do this for 40 people, so big props on making MCC so successful every time!

Now that you have a more comprehensive system for assigning teams have you considered taking a running average of the player's last 3 tournaments, both team and individual scores, instead of only looking at the last or their entire history? This could give you a more accurate picture of the player's performance on an individual basis along with helping you to see if they were perhaps being carried by their teammates. Based off this video it seems like you've got a lot on your plate with the event but looking at a slightly broader picture could help keep poor or average players from being unfairly penalized for having good luck because they got put on strong teams. Whether or not this suggestion helps I think these events are a lot of fun and were a great idea! Thanks very much for all the hard work you and the admins put into making/organizing these!

This is seriously amazing! It was my best friends birthday on Sunday and we decided for her birthday celebration we were gonna watch MCC. We took turns calling what teams we wanted to monitor and watch to report to the other. She called you. Unfortunately, her family scheduled an event on that day literally in the time slot for MCC so we might not be able to watch it live (I’m not gonna watch it without her). However, if that happens we are planning to watch the vods later the night. But hopefully we will catch it live for September and for my birthday celebration in October and of course for the many months to come. No matter what thank you for doing an amazing job with these teams and making her birthday celebration possible (or at least one like this).

Hey Scott, As a break for 100% you but also,the stressed out players maybe you can do a livestream picking the names out of a hat or something just for fun! It will pair people up with players that they may never have met before so that’s always neat for an unlikely colab! Love the videos Stay Safe!

Kawaii Candy well there’d have to be a strict criteria of course like you said PG and fun/win but, if all of the players do abide by the criteria then it could result out in a great selection and also 0 complaints but it’ll have a bit of criticism (from non PG or out of criteria creators not being included) but, for the most part of Scott and Noxcrew control so players in the hat are able to be compatible with most/all of the other members via similar content or Personal compatibility then it’s A-OK!

Kawaii Candy it matters if the criteria may be on new players for example the players will be playing more for fun and the only main criteria that they have to figure out is player compatibility (if they like each other) and if they are PG. it is better than Scott calculating the coins and figuring out placements which both of them make it hard for Scott but also the viewers to figure out where someone will work out but more importantly if that’s the right choice for the viewers, player and teammates. It is also the most transparent manner to release the teams and is an added uniqueness to the certain MCC and can be at least a quirky way to make the teams.
