@LadyCIMONNE Candle Co. when factoring per unit on my speedsheet # where lower inventora higher a little bit asked about shipping had none but had to pay shipping insurance combine with flat rate shipping to get accurate cogs just started my business and wanted to setup up inventora first to get accurate cost

Just started using inventora as well, it’s going great but one quick top - an easy way to enter a supply order without having to do manual calculations is to use the supply order feature under “more” it will factor in the shipping and taxes across the entire order for the COGS.

Yes I am aware. However, I wanted to demonstrate it manually because I believe as a business owner you need to understand how to do it when new situations come up. For example when releasing new products and trying to price accurately. Can’t always rely on computers; rely on your brain🙂 knowing your numbers is power! I use computers and systems to manage my business and make things easier but I need to learn how i arrived at those numbers lol.

Ok so when I get more of the same wax it will cost a different price how will I get the right pricing so when I do my cogs at the end of the month I doesn’t mess it up?

@@LadyCIMONNECandleCo I guess in order to file taxes the IRS asks for what you started with with your inventory and what you ended with at the end of the year. Girl I need a drink trying to figure this out lol
