You can lower the ttk on medium and heavy by animation cancelling with a weapon switch as soon as you hit your charged. So for heavy you do Charged / swap / Charged / swap / Basic. And for medium you do Charged / swap / Basic / melee or the double Charged canceled with swaps. This increase the ceiling of the sword a lot, it's like playing AWP on cs but you have to time the weapon swaps with the hit and not cancel too early. Using your taser after Charged is more optimal because you cancel the animation with it. I also recommend using Breach charge (C4) on the key you want to swap to because you can always swap even if it's on cd. You can also do ghosted Charged attacks, if you perform the swap right before letting go off right click. Doesn't have much use though, you can't interrupt the animation anymore because there is none. That's all the additional data I've got.

For killing medium you can switch to gadget and switch back to sword for animation canceling, so the order would be charge -> gadget -> sword -> light -> quick melee

A thing to point out with the sword. You dont have to be on target perfectly. Its enough to strafe over the target with your crosshair while beeing in the attack animation. It will register as a hit

invisibility doesn't work very well with sword because you have to close the gap often, you might be able to get away with dagger invis but it'd be a lot slower of a play style

The only problem for me Is that I didn't buy all of gadgets and guns well last one of my weapons are dagger and rest all cost 6,000 battle tokens. I actually went for evasive dash and more fire accurate SMG

Evasive dash is a must, if you body shot a light, you can dash forward for the finish, throwing in dashes between shots to keep yourself from over comitting, glitch grenades to throw at distance to disable heavy shields/bubble, stun gun in case you over extend, stun the enemy and have an enemy finish them off, lastly I would use either frag grenade/breach charge, breach charge for making supportive plays like dropping the cashout through the floor if you catch yourself last alive.

I played ranked last night with this class, I will say with the slight meta shift and more lights in each lobby it is more viable than I expected, however with how aggro you play it's sometimes hard for your medium to get a defib, or for the rest of your team to punish the people you're getting weak.

I saw this tip on a different YT video and after trying it out in the practice range I wasn't able to notice a significant difference between the lunge-melee-basic combo and lunge-switch-basic-melee combo. Sometimes it won't even show the sword swing when I would switch but I don't think it's any faster

Can you see the same thing in every kill highlights? Yes it 90% 1v1 and if it 1v3 the enemy are not good. Try to bring this in tourament and rank you will see how they melt this playstyle easily 😂 don't use this on high rank? Nah bronze 1 is already hard to dance around. Good player not going alone and if you're a light player and try to fight with at least 2 players at the same time alone 99% you are dead. Trust me I'm Light main and try out a lot of close range loadout. It's not easy to fight with high skill players

I think you know the meta team atm right H M L is good but all 3 need to be good, not just like random average skill players can fit with this loadout. Light can win a 1v1 90% but on high rank your enemy is not alone or even Light with thermal vision + XP-45 can kick your ass easy. This is just a fun and meme loadout. It has many problem and easy to be countered
