Another reason why Robin and Barney needed to be endgame since the beginning even when Robin and Barney was not a thing. Coby and Neal was getting along so well and they loved their couple in the show. And we can see it clearly that Barney and Robin were soulmates, best friend. Ted was always their little brother

@@prathameshshetty341 you don’t need to stick with your original story if what evolves is better. Take the series “Scrubs”. Don’t know if you have seen it. There was never supposed to be a janitor, but they loved the actor so much that they gave him a supporting role. Soon enough he was becoming an essential part of the series. One of the best characters, actually. It’s about real chemistry and not just what seems good on paper.

I think theres something to say about how soulmates aren’t always romantic. They both have beautiful happy families with other people but that doesn’t mean they don’t truly love and care for each other. They have undeniable chemistry! But chemistry doesn’t just have to be sexual or romantic it can just be to people who really really work together well even if it’s completely platonic

I love HIMYM. I have cheered on the Barney and Robin romance. But i have to say.. I am not liking this last season. I'm WATCHING it, but I'm not liking it. Barney's charm IS that he is a lovable cad. Now, he isn't. Marshall is so PART of the group and for the last season..he's in an SUV?? Robin? I just can't. I mean, maybe she's a lovely woman (Cobbie), but as Robin? You have to believe that she is SUCH an incredible woman that both Barney and Ted are nuts over her...and it's like..REALLY?

No Robin has the "bartender effect" on her side without even standing behind a bar lol It's like she does look attractive because Ted though of her as attractive and desireable, so sure it made her look even more attractive when she came home from Argentina and got there that "super hot guy" Gael, which made Ted want her even more, so of course eventually Barney would catch up on her "high market" rank. It is for real like that in real life too I think. As soon as several people in a group of friends get the picture of one person being desireable that person does get some status of being attractive, no matter if it started based on physics or on personality traits.

The part when Barney degrades to his original self after years of evolving is the saddest, I don’t buy it, I prefer thinking this was a part of Ted’s weird dream of his ex girlfriend breaking up with her soulmate and returning back to Ted. Which makes him kinda bad guy. And I feel his pain in all this. But what the hell, he used to describe every tiny detail of Barney and Robin’s story, and he completely skips their divorce. Ted makes Robin’s comeback to him way too easy considering their long story. She couldn’t love him for many years, and now she loves just like that? For a small flashback with a blue French horn from the past? When did she stop holding him in a friend zone and saw him as a partner? I don’t buy it. I appreciate the writers’ effort, but this “twist” just doesn’t work for me.
