How I modify a Pathfinder Canteen Cup Stove Stand.

It definitely makes this project easier, having a diverse tool selection. I wasn’t so fortunate. I opened my top all the way, so I could fit the cup or canteen inside. I then put 2 metal pins/ rods to hold the cup at the desired height,, for a Trangia stove. I’ve always wanted to make an exclusive piece of kit for my Trangia stove. Great Video,,,!!!!

Well done, nice to see someone who knows how to use the G.I. stove as a twig stove. If you turn the open side of the stove into the wind you get a bit of a rocket effect too. Cheers 🇨🇦

I might be over simplifying this but I've always started a fire like normal and after some coals build up put the stand in and add the cup of water on top. NEVER had a problem doing it this way. K.I.S.S.

You could also turn the Pathfinder stove upside down, same thing and you still have the option to grill

I think that I would cut out an X pattern to leave the raised holes for the cup to sit on, either way will work.
