How I Mount Wood Panels for Framing:
My current project, with my robotic arm, is to paint geometric hard-edge abstracts on thin wood panel. I prefer the thin wood panel for ease of use and storage. In this video I show how I mount the panel with hanging hardware and frame the pieces.
I am now offering these pieces for sale on my Etsy site so I wanted to show you what your finished painting will look like. Likewise if you are trying to figure out how to mount your own paintings this might give you some ideas.

Don't use silicone for cradling your panels, the bond won't last over time nor is it tight enough. Instead, use a water resistant wood glue like Titebond or an archival PVA framing glue like Lineco. You can buy them by the tube or by the gallon at a reasonable price.

I looked Lineco framing adhesives up and it says it is permanent. I am wanting to use something that can be removable as people more often than not want to change frames.
