If you get into TCS in the digital profile, I guess you will always get 7LPA or above based on appraisal. But if you get promoted to digital cadre through DCA examination internally, you may loose the learning incentive if you get C band in any appraisal, as per the current policies. Now the policies may change in the future

I don't think there is any such limitations. You can go for both. The DCA is specifically to move to digital profile. The elevate wings 1 tslp is for digital and beyond. It is a much longer process. Do check out my video for tslp to know more. You will get a better understanding.

Hey Ashok, loved the concise questions. 1. In my opinion, not really. If your current project is a Dev project, you can explain that in your interview and what you have learned etc. If you don't have that project, you can talk about any side project. Other than that no role in selection for digital cadre. 2. That depends entirely on TCS. No way to predict or know if there is a no of candidates criteria. But I don't think they have a specific number like such.

That entirely depends on TCS to be honest. It can take more than a month also. TCS generally rolls out the revised ctc for everyone in bulk. So I guess they will wait for everyone's interviews to be finished.

You can receive C band for n number of reasons, but I don't think you being in support project will affect anything.

The project budget is different (Now the manager can release you or anyone based on project budget, but you getting learning incentive doesn't increase your cost to the client). Your managers and clients are not going to know how much salary you are getting. Every associate has a cost to the client, and it is way higher than what the associate is paid. So the way you look at this is not accurate I would say.

Hi for 2021 the pattern is like Quants, LR, Verbal, and Advanced coding. LR is the toughest, and English is the easiest. Advanced Coding varies from slightly easy to moderate and tough as well. I gave the exam twice and failed. Mainly due to 2 issues - relatively bad perf in LR section and choosing C/C++ about coding.

As far as I know, TCS has stopped DCA exam from 2022 onwards for internal employees. TCS wants the internal employees to follow the TSLP 2.0 route for digital and other incentives. Even if code doesn't compile, submit the code. Normally I have seen a few people whose code did not compile due to compilation issues but they submitted the code and cleared assessment. If it is fault in compiler, there may be a chance the code will not hold any weightage or something like that. So without fail, submit the code.

Sir pls tell me will i be able to fit for the ninja profile . I am asking this bcz i am from ECE branch and i had coding experience only in python and i don't know much about java or any other languages except C . So will i be able to adjust with the training in the first year.
