Good job bro! what you just accomplished is better than 95% of college degrees so skip that debt, get a good job for experience and focus on eventually being a business owner and buying assets like rental properties and you'll be set for life!

For sure I’m working while in school since I got a lot of it already paid for so I’ll get more experience and get a degree.

I see that you skipped CompTIA A+ Certification like me ^_^. I did not obtained that certification because I already have 4 years experience like IT Support Specialist. I got my CCNA and now working to obtain my JNCIA-Junos from Juniper. I mean I learned the most of CompTIA A+ with the experience meanwhile studying from courses. Regards from Argentina!

Thats kinda how I felt and the Google IT Support Certificate kinda taught me those things but working in IT for a year or longer I don't think you need it after that point.

Good stuff! What are cert/topic are you studying next?
@Jamesytech222 ай бұрын
That's a great question. It's my first semester in college so I'm focusing on that right now and I'm also considering doing an internship next semester. I don't know what I'll be pursuing next as far as certifications go.

What’s the point lol. Why not just get 2-3 good ones and develop professionally
@Jamesytech222 ай бұрын
For sure what I did isn’t necessary to get a job but I took advantage of opportunities given to me. How would you suggest I should’ve developed professionally outside of the certs and internship?
@ethiopiangamer93812 ай бұрын
@@Jamesytech22 make more use of your internship or research certifications that are in demand in your area. More energy you put towards certifications is less energy you can put towards your job or at school. If you enjoy taking them, go right ahead and study for some certifications, but you can only put so many on a resume before it’s too much. Not that I don’t find your work ethic impressive though, was just wondering what your thoughts were!

Ik Im definitely having trouble with choosing which certs to include without doing too much
@Geomaverick1242 ай бұрын
Well for a kid in highschool its pretty impressive. Plus getting those certifications probably gave him a path to follow...they also might have helped his grades since he was in a IT based Highschool...Some colleges also can exchange those certs for credit hrs making his degree cheaper.
