Used to before I got my jewelry stand, I had burlap hanging down vertically and I would attach my earrings to that. To make it cute I tied a bow to the top of each strand of burlap. It was pretty much what you’re doing with the mask, just bigger and longer so I could fit all my earrings. I had like three rows. I attached the burlap to the inside of my bathroom closet door with a command hook and hung it using the fabric bow I tied to the top of the burlap piece. Worked for me and kept them out of the way. Just an idea! Worst thing was when I opened the door they would swing a little. Probably could attach it to the door or wall at the bottom too to keep that from happening.
