Thankyou...that was fantastic, so simple, clear and concise. It's validating for me, as I have touched on what you speak, but have not been able to sustain as yet. Hoping overtime, that these feelings of peace will become more sustainable.

Totally Resonate with this video and The Story of Adam and eve eating from The Tree of Knowledge of good and evil has such great Wisdom, it's so obvious. Anxiety sucks but then again, it's kind of like a teacher.

Very true, yet in this person's experience the stored trauma in the body can be so viscerally powerful that it can be very difficult to stay with this realization. Using this pre-verbal ego formation (pain body), thought latches on and continues its attachment, particularly to regret. Having a non-dual realization, yet still remaining trapped in a sense of separation, is like standing outside of the Garden of Eden and being held from walking through the gate by an imaginary chain. That is exquisitely painful soul agony. There's unfortunately no way around that Hell realm but by processing and staying present with the painful clinging in the somato-emotional body - fortunately over the last couple of decades there has been more understanding of this stored trauma and ways of working with it. It's often an important missing puzzle piece (Scott Kiloby does excellent work on this). Ironically this missing piece got in the way of awakening decades ago, in this person's case, and the longer it takes the more the ego has regret stories to attach to that have to be let go of.

I've absolutely experienced this myself as someone who's working to overcome an anxiety disorder. For me this feeling of separation, oneness, presence, only comes fleetingly. I know chasing a certain feeling is going to lead to a sense of disappointment but how do we hold onto this feeling of presence and not perpetually slide back into that habitual mode of analysis? ❤️

By letting go of that whole story of everything you just mentioned. Your mind is still seeking for Something you already have. You already have it, so don't fret. Your already in a State of Oneness whether you feel It or not. The mind is making too much noise. Just Be Still.

This, Luke, as you probably know, is also Eckhart Tolle’s story. Saying ‘’I can’t live with myself any longer’’ told him there must be not one but two identities within him and, that was the moment he became enlightened. I had a perhaps similar experience when surrendering myself to Christ before a congregation of 800. Bliss followed but not for long. The joy left me when I left the church to continue my travels. Fifty years ago but feels like yesterday.

Yes :) interestingly I ordered the power of now on Amazon. It was to arrive in 5 days. The day after I ordered it was when I went through my awakening. The power of now arrived and told me exactly what happened to me. Thanks for sharing your story :) Christ is the saviour of us all 🙏🏼 wishing you Light and healing

Don’t want to burst your bubble here Luke and I think you’ve got a great message and it’s your experience! However please check out some of the work being done by those who have sat with what you’ve realised. There’s more to it, and it revolves around emotions and how we repress them, peace and love ❤️❤️❤️

I just came across your channel. I have done this many times in my life, it does not work for me. I have depression and pannick attacks, since I was a child. I lost a Son 13 years ago and the depression got worst. I am a psychic/medium also a practitioner with powerful intuitive gifts. I can help everyone expect myself. When you have a chemical imbalance, it just creeps in even in your happiness moments. This is just my opinion for myself. Great video bless it be.

I love how you break things down in the KISS method..Keep It Simple Stupid lol Seriously tho, I’ve listened to so many people trying to really grasp & understand how to watch our thoughts without dwelling on them & it seems so complicated! But you explain things in a very simplified manner and thank you for that! 🩷 Do you do any one on one’s if people have more questions or need a little more understanding on anything? Thanks again

Excellent description of why people suffer. The Adam and Eve story is revealing. It's told by religion that they disobeyed and had to be punished, but the way it's told here, it was just the introduction of thinking that caused feelings of guilt and shame and the suffering that follows. The story as told by religion creates the idea of sin and the the need for punishment if we don't do what we're told. The story itself is a means of implanting guilt and shame into the collective consciousness. It seems like a deliberate means to keep people ignorant of their true innocence. It seems the story itself is the cause of suffering by convincing a population that they are are guilty and deserve to be punished. Very revealing.
@Luketherapy
@Luketherapy 2 жыл бұрын
Yes, the 'sin' here replies to mere unconscious urges in the body. Consciousness is what frees you from these urges. I do not believe we are being punished, we did no wrong. It is a mere necessary step in human evolution. Jesus called this the 'birthing pains' of humanity. A mother gives birth and it is tremendously painful, however once it is over and she sees her baby it was worth it. When a human awakens to presence, the suffering dissolves like waking from a dream

Luke I’ve read and listened to some of these theories before but your presentation was very engaging. I found you encapsulated many of the concepts and put them forward in a way that resonated and made practical sense. Your sincerity showed through. What you say I believe to be true but it is so hard to develop this awareness and apply it every day. I suppose it’s developing a new habit. Takes time and persistence.

Wow. The first video where someone describes my depression perfectly. I’ve been reading about others in certain situations, and it’s true for me, my negative emotions hit me before the thoughts. Any advice on how to deal with those initial doom and gloom waves that wash over me? My reaction to them are definitely negative, can I still use the same technique regardless of the order of thoughts vs feelings?
@Luketherapy
@Luketherapy 2 жыл бұрын
Such a good question! The trick is always being the awareness of what is happening. Can you observe what is going on in the body? Where is the sensation? Can you observe it? Then, can you realise you are the one observing the feeling, ie. you are not the feeling itself? The moment you can turn awareness into the emotion, you separate yourself from it, and thus allowing it to dissolve. (I plan to make a vid on this topic) 🤍

@@Luketherapy so like “the feeling is happening to me, but it’s not me”. Something like that? It feels like an unknown force is attacking me, and then I react, with feelings of fear and feelings of powerlessness and hopelessness. Thanks so much for your replies and videos. They help me conceptualize my issues differently - years of medication and cbt have done nothing for me because my emotions come first - not my thoughts -
@Luketherapy
@Luketherapy 2 жыл бұрын
@@jenniferbuford3803 yes, just observe it. Instead of ‘I am sad’, it’s ‘I’m observing sadness in the body’. But you don’t say this of course, you just observe it. I’ve heard this a lot! Cbt is quite underdeveloped in my opinion, as it neglects the knowledge of eastern teachings. I will make a vid on handling emotions :)
