Hi guys! I've been meaning to do this video and I'm so glad that I can be open and honest with you guys about my many insecurities growing up. Here's how I overcame them, and I also share some that I'm currently still dealing with. Hope this video helps those of you who are also dealing with your own personal insecurities.

Society's beauty standards are always changing. Before everyone wanted a thigh gap but now it is thick thighs and an hourglass figure. Therefore, just love yourself and embrace your natural self✨ because you can never keep up with beauty standards ❌but you can always keep up with yourself✔ x I'm learning this too x❤

i get you with the height insecurity, for me i remember some of the most beautiful women are also tall: beyonce is 5'7, zendeya is 5'10, rihannah is 5'8, justine skye is 5ft 7, kelly rowland is 5′ 7″

My biggest insecurity is my height I’m 14 and I’m 5’7 or 5’8 but in primary I knew that I was tall and I was really skinny and I would actually love . In my primary being tall was literally a big flex like u got to do all the jobs and reach the higher shelves and just stuff like that 😭😭. Then I got to secondary school and this is when it went down hill. So basically I came and I was like everyone is bare short . Like up to my shoulders. And after a few days if I said something the boys wouldn’t call me twig or lanky and just stiff like that.i mean it has died down but it still bothers me. Like Ik my friends don’t do it intentionally but I have this friend who is 5’4 and she told me that when she first met me she thought I was as tall as a lampost. Ngl it kinda hurled me. That’s the main reason I don’t like being tall but another reason is that ITS SO HARD TO FIND JEANSSS like I want skinny jeans but they would fit my waist and be short on my legs(since I have long legs) or it would fit my legs but it would be big for m waist . I have like 2 jeans that fit me , my mum has to get them for me. So I basically only wear leggings. Another insecurity of mine is my hands. So basically in year 4 I pointed to something on someone’s book and they were like “ew whose finger is that” so I quickly moved my hand away. Also another reason that my friend (the same one who is 5’4) said she is “scared” of my fingers she was joking but then again it made me insecure but still. Bruh this is bare long and sorry if there are any spelling mistakes or things that don’t make sense its auto correct.

I relate to this soo much being tall and skinny is a rollercoaster , I always used to wear oversized shit so people wouldn’t see my weight . They be like look at this tree walking around 😭😭😭😭 chaii . My only insecurity is my teeth. It’s yellow to it,several gaps and i have an open bite. Everyone i talk to literally anyone all i think is “ they’re looking at my ugly teeth.” Theres nothing i can even do about it since i’m just a secondary school girlie and a few orthodontists have rejected me :(

I literally smiled when she mentioned Apetamin. Also used apetamin for a while and my body’s literally like “girl you slim and you’re staying that way” 😂😂🤭. I’m a lot more confident about my body now though. I think it gets better as you grow and you start to channel your energy to more productive things.

So I've now watched part 2 and you are my literally my insecurities twin!! In my days no youtube etc do felt even more isolated and odd one out but nowadays seeing other slim people learning to embrace it is so good. It never goes away but gets easier as you said growth over the years. Fact, being natually slim is a gift!! Weight trends come and go but just remember the joy of being slim eating whatever and no lifetine in a gym. Embrace, enjoy.

You sound just like me and many others you are def not alone - i had very light eyebrows family kindly affectionately mentioned it ( im the baby) but it wasnt an insecurity for me luckily we just laughed it off. I have very long fingers and big hands to noted by school pals etc but i used it as a bonus by measuring thier tiny dolls hands against mine so in fact they became more concisious of their small hands and mine were celebrated. Will watch second half vid later🙂 By the way a gorgeous slim person like you too we will will always be seen as unusual and hated in many wa, guess what?
