How I passed CISSP certification exam? My background, Resources, Study plan & exam tips.

Just to be clear, I have only read 11th Hour CISSP book by Eric Conrad. Then I read notes from Thor Pederson, memory palace notes (forgot to mention) and sunflower CISSP. Watched lots of videos on KZbin. I didn't read ISC2 official book or anyone else's books. I am not suggesting you do the same. Depends on what suits your style. Hope that helps.

@@Sequel7 Hi, depends on how much time & prior knowledge have you got. You can certainly do it via self study. Might take longer. Boot camp is not bad if you can afford.

I just passed today. Thank you for the videos! Gave me lots of strength. It was really brutal. I had over 150 questions and my time ran out. I thought I totally failed and then after submitting the last answer I found out that I passed. Such a relieve. The toughest thing was time running out more and more and getting constantly walls of text to read with weirdly formulated questions. I´m pretty sure my head was smoking after 4 hours. Also managed to do only one 10 minute bathroom break.

@@AskJaiUK First, putting the CISSP knowledge to work in my dayjob :) . But in the near future I definitely want to learn more about offensive security and also do OSCP Certification.

I passed the CISSP exam this morning at the first attempt - I can't believe how similar our experiences were with the exam! When my test stopped at 100 I was *sure* I had failed. Very surprised and very happy when they handed me the letter to say I had passed!
